Hoping Handy is back... I mean, they mentioned developing like 17 times why not have the best guy in the biz... but I don't know if that's even a slight possibility after firing the whole Ham staff.

I agree. He's very good at developing players. Sam Cassell is another coach who's good at developing players. Keep in mind, developing players doesn't only mean developing basketball skills. It also includes acclimating to the NBA lifestyle. It will be fine, sounds like Gentry will be joining the staff and probably some more experience after him.

Gentry's not just good for AD, he's good for any pick and roll three point shooting guards and off pindowns and screens moving shooters, because he would put remnants of D'Antoni's offense in the system that's implemented.
That's what took the Warriors offense from what Jackson was doing to what we now know and love and got Steph all those pindown attempts.
So getting Gentry means they really are going to prioritize AD as leading offensive guy but also utilizing the three point shooters.

Did they all turn him down? Was it all BS for the media?
