Have you seen our undrafted pool lately? You don’t think a guy like Alex Caruso or Austin Reaves would be worth a second round pick.

enough unproven guards already, we already have:

max christie
JHS
Knecht

spending no. 55 on Bronny would just be stupid. instead, i'd go with any big man remaining with that pick.

IF lakers FO do this it's only to make daddy happy. This kid would
be in zero conversations if he where not the son of gramps.

Don’t we still have Castleton on this team? I know people are asking for another late 2nd round big…

What do Lakers do with 3 bigs, if they draft another one and Hayes opts in? 2 of them being almost unplayable projects.

Most rival executives and fans in general expect the Lakers to pick Bronny at 55 but what if a team like the Celtics get him or the Jazz?

i do NOT want Bronny on the lakers. last thing we need is more drama and distraction to a team with weak leadership begin with. i can see it now, Bronny not getting playing time, crying to daddy, and LeBron uses his passive aggressiveness to alienate coaches and teammates to make a point. would someone please pick Bronny ahead of 55 already?

well we cannot keep JHS, Bronny and Lewis on this team. That's 3 spots that are huge projects. Let alone barely in the nba Cam Reddish.

We have so many guards we could defend the castle of England.

Welcome to LA, Bronny!!

Lol. Why make it a 2 day event if they are starting round 2 at 1pm on a Thursday

I was just curious. Haven't been 100% dialed in the last few years.

Because it fills afternoon tv content which they need to their main shows come on and then they can filler in the Jump, Sportscenter, and other shows with results. Its smart for them as programming at espn especially who can also fill radio content

That’s a no brainer. You keep Bronny. You shed JHS and Lewis. Bronny is younger than both. Bronny also can generate you actual money and it is a business. Whether people hate to admit it or not, the lakers team isn’t a hobby, it’s an actual business for the Buss family and Bronny can sell merch, sell tickets, get press coverage, and all that over the next couple years which they cannot. Its the right business move

Legler wants Boston to take Bronny at 54 to reignite the rivalry.

Then call the Lakers and say, "we have your son, make us an offer"

Bob Meyers said Rich Paul is currently calling teams and telling them not to take Bronny. That he will go to play in Australia instead.
