And I love LeBron in the corner -- hitting LeBron on the move is the scariest way to use him in Year 21. I'd also rather have Prince chase around MPJ than Rui. And yes, it's asking for a lot more rebounding effort given the decrease in size (but the uptick is Prince's boxing out has been fantastic).
Love Rui but he just kinda gets out-physical-ed by Gordon and isn't good enough defensively to chase MPJ. If he's not giving you an efficient 13-15 or so then it's tough. |
Absolutely.....Darvin SPAM got this right on giving Prince more minutes. Freaking Jovan Buha is saying give Rui more minutes because we are getting killed on the boards and Rui offers more size......Jeez....I dont even want to waste my time debunking that garbage. Taurean is the answer and I noticed the boxing out effort as well...even when Jokic just plucked the rebound right over his head and got an And-1. Even STILL, he is busting his ass boxing out. |

I also want to praise Darvin for knowing and trusting Prince. Prince is proving to be one of those mentally tough dogs who can just elevate his play in the playoffs....ala. Rondo. We all laughed and griped at Vogel for playing Rondo too many minutes in the regular season and likewise towards Ham for Prince. Well, now we see why. Taurean is just a dog who has it for playoff basketball. Some guys like Prince and Lonnie Walker have that "it". Some guys like Malik Beasley and Troy Brown Jr dont. |

Yup, his limitations get exposed and his advantages get limited. |

Even Hayes was better on Saturday. If he can defend drives without fouling, and show some hustle on the glass. That’s a +. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Ham finally realized that any big body is better to have out there than Rui/Lebron at center |

After the game 2 collapse he led, this is the biggest halftime he has had this year. This is it. Make them beat the LBJ and AD PnR and pull guys if they're tired or lost. |

And just like that Darvin cost us the 4th and possibly the game. AD is running around with a dangling arm, D'lo/AR/Rui/LeBron are exhasuted, Jokic is starting to dominate, Porter is hitting shots, Denver is on a huge run..
Ham does nothing.
Even Reggie said he's surprised he's not calling a time out... I mean, FFS |

I missed the first half. Looked like he only had 3 left in the 3rd quarter.
What do you expect from him? He needs to take some timeouts home after the game for his collection. Game-changing timeouts and challenges don't grow on trees. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Wish we had adapted to what they were doing sooner. Tough one to lose, but they are the defending champs for a reason. |

Finally season over.
Get Ham the (bleep) out of LA. Leave him in Denver and take his own plane home. _________________ Lakers Offseason Goal:
- Draft Zach Edey (or Kel'el Ware)
- Sign Jonas Valanciunas or Nicolas Claxton
- sign and trade DLO to not lose value
- sign a coach that’s not an idiot
Call it an offseason |

I am confused the Lakers challenge was successful shouldn’t they had a timeout left at end? Successful challenge gives you timeout back ? |

Not me. Also even if he is, they're not hiring someone better. |
