This is a 50+ win team if it does basic things like sign playable backup bigs and doesn't start its worse players. The team's value is always depressed in the regular season, except that first Westbrook year. That was a trainwreck. |
Was the Russ year even a train wreck when you split it up as the team with and without Rondo?
The Lakers were 19-19 with Rondo on the team when they dealt him and in a playoff spot with Russ, Melo, Dwight, Rondo all there
After Rondo is dealt to Cleveland they went 14-30 which is how they finished 33-49
Even when people harp on Pelinka, the fact is Vogel being weak hurt them more than anything. Once he lost the locker room police in rondo the team tanked and Jeanie said find a coach who can handle Russ. Game couldn’t either but he did far better with Russ, Pat Bev, Thomas Bryant, and Nunn all (bleep) about roles than Frank did. You could almost argue that they make the playoffs or play in with Rondo on the team and then it’s whatever in the playoffs |

But we didn't sign any other bigs. Ham is part of the "team" and his decisions contribute to the outcome of games. I'm sure if Vando, Gabe and CWood weren't hurt most of the year we may have had a better record. We may feel like this SHOULD be a 50+ win team but as the saying goes, you are what your record says you are (especially in an 82 game season). |

AD is really getting through this game standing up on every play and playing defense and hitting the glass 😂
This is the most damning game for the gap between AD and Bron and BI that I have ever seen because bi isn’t impacting a thing
