RIP

I know he's in a bunch of great stuff, but I always see him as the Chief in Get Smart when he first appears on screen and I smile a little.

Loved him in that movie. I just watched it a day or two ago. He was also great in Going In Style. Arkin had an easily able recognizable voice. RIP

One of the best. The subtleties in his performances were perfection. And such a unique comedic delivery.

Definitely going to rewatch some of those movies, starting with “The In-laws” and ”Little Miss Sunshine”.

RIP

Loved him. Had a distinctive style but so many nuances.

Sad. I really enjoyed his performances. He really handled the transition into older roles so well. I remember first seeing him in The Rocketeer back in 1991.

R.I.P.

The first movie I remember seeing him in was Wait Until Dark -- and it scared the bejesus out of me. RIP.

He has the least flashy role in that movie by a mile but he’s the funniest person in it.

He'd BUUUY em.....

Don't start me on Ed Harris. Dude will prolly never get an Oscar. Sure, a lot of them might not go to the best and the role/movie plays a huge part in the selection for various reasons. But I thought Ed's last chance was for his Jackson Pollock movie/role in 2000 and he didn't get it.

My fave two lines in GGR were "EFF YOUUU!....THAT'SSSSSS...MY NAME!" and "PAA-TELLLL?!...FWAc YOU!..." In the PA-TEL rant vid on YT there are users named Patel who say, "NOT offensive, TRUE. Not opining on that one, but just love the Al rant for the Al. That's the one late Al performance I love and the "90s Al" acting style was necessary. Ricky Roma? Yes. Colonel Frank Fitts? Ya know. Some of those scenes, man. WHOO-WAH.
