The dude is so reckless out there.
I made a post earlier this season saying this is Drose 2.0 waiting to happen.
The way he uses his knee and the tension he put on his joints with his crazy moves.
And he jump so high into his defenders like he can fly.
There is almost no regard for the landing.
The dude needs a movement coach this off-season, or else he will not play long in this league |

Indeed. But also hope he's healthy and ready to play because winning due to injuries sucks |
Yep totally agree. No excuses…beat them with their best playing. |

Jordan played like this as well in the 80s. Broke his foot playing like this as well. |

Jordan bulked up later.
And played with more back to the basket fadeaway.
Morant is a skinny frame dude with less than ideal landing mechanic.
He ain’t gonna last unless something change.
Jordan and Lebron both have almost perfect landing mechanic. |

I would say it would be better to cite Wade and Rose. Wade learned how to land and Rose did not. |

Hope he gets well soon. Reaching down like that while falling in the air is a nice way to break something. I think that's one way how cyclists break their collarbone. It sounds counterintuitive but reaching toward the ground can cause way more harm than good |

Listening to the athletic podcast and they seem to be suggesting that Davis did the wrong thing. Seems mad to me, he would have been punished by the refs if he really challenged. Besides with both players coming together surely there's a much higher chance of ankle injuries etc.
Maybe trying to hurdle a 7 foot player from the free throw line was the wrong play? Maybe trying to make a poster wasn't smart in game 1 of the playoffs when there was an easy score available.

Also finding it comical with the multiple commentaries this morning of how the charge rules need to be changed or the circle moved farther out.
How about not attacking the rim and expecting to be bailed out by a call.
As someone mentioned above, pick your moments to explode and show off your athleticism. Into a crowded lane may not be it. |

How could anyone argue AD did the wrong thing by getting into a legal position to take a charge? Maybe I am misunderstanding your comment though. |

No, I don't think I was totally clear.
It was in terms of them saying the rules should encourage him to challenge in the air instead of setting, not that he'd done anything illegal or immoral in his play.
I just think it was Morant's decision to make a high risk play and it didn't pay off. _________________ "I got Wheaties!" |
