In the playoffs?
I'm scared of the Kings and Suns, hope they don't get either of them in the first round.
Grizz would be fine, none of the other potential Western playoff teams worry me much... _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |

In the play-in? Dallas. In the playoffs? Denver.
Do not want? Phoenix with a bullet.

Kings easily. Suspect defense, no playoff experience, good matchups other than Fox |

Long guards and wings used to lick their chops when they are playing us. Vando change the game .
We can beat anyone but from the tactical standpoint , I want that 6th seed. I have little confidence that Ham can figure out the Suns that early and we have a lot of new guys still trying to get acclimated with Lebron ball. I am dubious if Reaves will get those regular season calls too. |

It's more embarrassing to lose to the Kings but that's the team you've got to choose if it's between them or going down the Phoenix/Clippers/Denver path |

The only thing that worries me is our health. We don't need a repeat of the '21 playoffs against the Suns. Otherwise, if we're going to make a run, we'll need to beat some good teams without home court advantage. An easier path would be better (duh), but in the end, we'll be playing some strong teams no matter what. _________________ Internet Argument Resolved |

After the regular season ends, I want to see the Lakers face the East Coast champion. It doesn't matter to me how it happens. |

Teams that would give the Lakers trouble, in this order:
Suns - They have an inside out attack. We'd really need Bamba.
Clippers - F them, I don't know why that team dominates us so much, but they do.
Dallas - They have two players that can explode on any given day, and they have a 3 point storm attack.
Pelicans - similar to Dallas. If Zion returns, they have 3 players that can explode.
T-Wolves - If, and only if, they get into AD's head.
Teams that Lakers should handle, if they play Laker ball:
Nuggets - Tough series, but stop Murray and you can stop their attack.
Warriors - We are to the Warriors like the Clippers are to us, just to a lesser extent.
Grizzlies - Good at talking, but they also break down when things don't go right.
Kings - Fox can't be stopped, but the rest of the team can.
Thunder/Jazz - They just don't have enough to beat us. |

I get it that we’re all trying to approach this post season as strategically as possible.
To me it don’t matter who we play gotta be ready for all the smoke. Easy to forget the Westbrook days where we started the season with 2 wins and 10 losses. An that’s with a healthy Lebron and AD SMDH
This team has overcame adversity to the highest degree just by making it to the dance. Gotta be ready to beat up whomever we must face.

how about this, for the top 4 seeds, who do they want to face and who don't they want to face in the lower 4?
i am guessing for the first round, they would like the clippers without PG13 and NOP/Minny.
teams they don't want to face are the warriors and the lakers. |

Looking forward to facing the Clits in the 2nd round or 3rd round assuming we would be favored and steamrolled our unfortunate first round opponent. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024 |

I would like to face the team we can sweep in the first round. Not sure who that is. People are selling Sucramento way short though. They are a good team. |

Has anyone thought about Phoenix losing all of their last 3 games? Denver is not serious right now, so I doubt it happens. But for some reason, lets say Nugget scrubs outplay Suns tomorrow night. Then their last two games are Lakers and Clippers, both teams more desperate than them. If Suns finish 44-38, and Lakers run table 44-38. They would be 2-2 head to head. Who has tie breaker? |

Opening round against the Kings.
Means the Lakers earned the 6th seed, avoided the play in and are rested for an entertaining series. Scenario seems optimal to me! |

I liked Huff. His has his limits for sure, but he seems to get enough out to be a borderline player. Could have used him when Bamba went down, that’s for sure. _________________ Darvin |

You're right, I think Lakers vs Huff would be a very favorable matchup.
