Should have called up Scottie Pippin JR after LBJ went down Sunday. At least we would have had a true ball handler. _________________ Previously LBJ23 |

Okc losing too.
Nothing changes |
It’s just that we’re behind them in the standings if we win and they lose we get a little closer |
We were ahead of the Thunder in the standings coming into today.
We both lose and it stays the same.
Also why are all your posts double posting? |
I want to say it’s a problem with the board because I’m getting a bunch of error messages but it looks like I’m the only one that’s double posting |
I get that all the time. I usually delete one of the posts | . I would, but it’s taking me forever to get back onto the site to delete the second post. |

not sure if he is still injuried.

True true...I like the fight though. Fully healthy we beat these guys. |
I like his fight too...hope Reaves is part of the Laker future even post AD/LBJ. It's up to the coach to put players in the right place to succeed and that has been shown to me not to be PG or SF for Reaves. He needs to play back up SG only. Morant and Dame torch a lot of NBA players but they especially went after Reaves. He did the best he could...still...hope we've seen the last of him at PG or SF. No other Laker was in double figures in +/- agains Memphis and Reaves was a -17. _________________ “When it looks as if it is a realistic possibility, I want to focus on winning a ship like it’s a goal that can’t be denied. AD remaining confident in winning some ball games with this last stretch in his post game interview.
Mentions he loves how our new squad defends.
AD also confident that DLO will be back soon. Tomorrow against OKC?....... probably not.
Friday back at home versus his old squad Minny? Hopefully.
Revenge DLO 😈 |

Was it a good fight at least? When I had to get back to work we were tied. |

Good efort. It's obvious neither AReeves nor Skywalker are PGs. We really miss Dlo and Lebron. Ja with the highest quarter this season with those 28pts.
I think Mo would have looked really bad. He is too slow for Memphis. Let's win tomorrow. |

Morant went crazy in the 3rd with nearly 30 points which pretty much killed us and I believe we went down 13-14 so it was an uphill battle from there and we made some great effort to try and make a comeback but without a legitimate primary ball handhandler our offense looked shaky at all times pretty much. I fully believe if we had either DLo or Bron we win this game. I loved the fight though, I have confidence we'll win a decent more then we lose as long as the injury bug doesn't keep hitting us.

It was. The problem for this team is going to be generating offense with LeBron and Russell out. They kept fighting tonight but the absence of our two best ball handlers was felt. A lot of turnovers and sloppy handles. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

Once Ja started to heat up there was no adjustment in the 3rd to focus on stopping him. And with the slightest contact he goes to the line. I'd get the ball out of his hands. Better odds letting him shoot the 3 and clogging the paint. He's a 31% shooter, just a little better than Westbrook.

Along with 26 turnovers... I'm hoping this was an adjustment game missing 2 playmakers and ball handlers. |

The only thing you were right about was the outcome they didn’t lose because Anthony Davis wasn’t defending. He actually defended very well they lost because they set a new team record for turnovers |

They were about equally in-effective is what I'm saying, can't justfy either one playing instead of the other. Maybe Reaves was worse than Schro...can't use the 7 assists as a case for Reaves because Schro had 10, it's a plus for Schro. Schro also had 4 rebounds compared 2 rebounds for Reaves. Reaves did have a block and a steal along with 2 fewer turnovers and 7 more points...but the main point...
Schro minus 1
Reaves minus 17
Seven more points and 2 less turnovers doesn't make up for the -17. No other player for the Lakers was in double digits for the +/-...Reaves was the only one. Neither was particularly good but Reaves could be considered to be a little worse the Schro...certainly Reaves wasn't that much better if at all to question with disbelief why Reaves wasn't in instead of Schro. Even with the eye test from the last few games says Reaves shouldn't be playing PG but Schro had been doing a decent job at PG this season. _________________ “When it looks as if it is a realistic possibility, I want to focus on winning a ship like it’s a goal that can’t be denied.
