He needs to come off the bench and more importantly...
He needs to STOP shooting three's.... _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |

He’s just not that good at playing the game. He was brought here for energy and attitude but with Russ buying in and our young new additions he’s basically Robert Sacre _________________ Kobe.

Apparently, Bev was the instigator of the mystical "heated" film session which actually could be a good thing if it helps the team identify ways to play better.
There may be ways that he has value behind the scenes that can't be measured on the floor. It's time however to acknowledge that his contributions on the court are not significant enough to warrant starting or even getting meaningful minutes.
My preference would be to do the Bev/Nunn/FRP trade immediately. I would also like to trade WB for Hayward/Rozier but that's a different story. _________________ “When it looks as if it is a realistic possibility, I want to focus on winning a ship like it’s a goal that can’t be denied. Getting rid of Beverley isn’t worth a FRP. Bench him or buy him out, he isn’t a winning player. The Clippers started winning games after they dumped him and Harrell. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I wouldn't waste an FRP just to dump him. Is anybody advocating that? Combining it with him as salary fodder to obtain a quality piece is another story.
He needs to be used in spurts. I feel like he's a 15-20 minute player at most these days. I'm just not feeling his impact these days other than the occasional frustrating foul/technical. Even if you didn't look at the numbers, he was always annoying to opposing fans like us. Those days seem long gone. _________________ Luxury Tax/FA Spreadsheet (Save to your Google Drive to edit) |

I have seen some strange messages on the internet so I guess I should suspect that anything is possible.
It could just be a misunderstanding, but I'll clear it up just in case...
I don't believe anyone wants to dump Beverly using the FRP, the trade suggested for Bev/Nunn/FRP for Turner is exclusively to acquire Turner, Bev is just included to match salaries using a player that is expendable. _________________ “When it looks as if it is a realistic possibility, I want to focus on winning a ship like it’s a goal that can’t be denied. No...the answer is no...
Bev/Nunn/FRP is not to dump Bev using a FRP, it's to acquire Turner...I feel like an idiot in the twilight zone just typing that. _________________ “When it looks as if it is a realistic possibility, I want to focus on winning a ship like it’s a goal that can’t be denied. Why is Pat bev still starting? He needs to be benched now that shroder is back. I’d argue that he needs to be behind shroder and nunn. At least we know nunn can get hot at any time _________________ “like I never left”

Quote: | Pat Bev is now 6/30 on catch and shoot threes to start the season. (20%). Lot of these wide open looks. |

It kills me when he misses a wide-open 3. Hopefully it's just a slump. |

Beverly and Nunn were supposed to be our 3rd and 4th guys this year.. and a few weeks into the season, it's abundantly obvious they are thee 2 weakest links of the rotation.
Trading both for a big wing (Oubre) or big (Turner) would be a major help. |

JTA should also be dangled in trade talks as well, he hasn’t done anything remotely Impressive so far this season besides some good hustle plays and defense during the pre season |

I have a new favorite Laker.
I wish the Rams would sign him. And great technique on that check sending Ayton sprawling. |

Guys a scumbag. He did this at the end of his time with the clippers as well. You can make all the excuses you want, but I’ve never liked him and this just put the finishing touches on it. |
