Let's see how this works, when a healthy Nunn gets to play with both Davis and Lebron.
What we are hoping to get for Buddy H., Kyrie, we might very well have in Nunn. Let's see how it goes, but maybe you spend that cap space next year on re-signing Reaves, Nunn, (maybe) one of the centers, and try to leave some left over to go outside and get ourselves a good SF wing and a solid PF.
I know, one or two preseason games is not enough, but if Nunn is healthy and shows that promise he had with the Heat, he might be a good solution for our guard problem. _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions! |

Having him for 2 years means the Lakers have his early bird rights. Which means they can offer him 105% of the league average salary. This season I believe that meant a deal starting at $10.9M for up to 4 years. So something around 4 years $50M. Or slightly more depending what the league average salary is this season. |

Going to be hard with splitting time with Westbrook/Schro/Bev… Going to be interesting how Ham will be rotating those 4 guys. |
I think he can and will. He is going to earn his minutes to do so. |

With our current options for PG, Westbrook is extremely redundant right now |

Starting to feel more confident about this teams chances. Between Russ, nunn, Lonnie, and Dennis we will always have a 3rd scoring punch on the court playing with AD and bron. _________________ “like I never left”

Now imagine that shooting being available for the whole game OR the two playing at the same time. _________________ Darvin |

Think of it this way... Buddy AND Nunn
Nunn
Hield
Reaves
Beverly
Schooder
Could be a pretty good guard line up to play alongside Legramps, Davis and Turner. |

Too bad Monk didn't take the tMLE. He and Nunn off the bench could've been electric... which we obv never saw last year.
Will be interesting how this impacts Dennis who obviously is a good player too. Does he ride the bench? Does he play with Nunn with Nunn being the 2? |

I agree...young hungry guys with athleticism and everyone flying around on both sides of the ball.
I think we could surprise some people, the vibe just seems alot better. |

He’s off to a solid start. Hopefully that continues because we could really use him as the leader of the 2nd unit.
Nunn top of his game changes a lot for depth of this team. |

With Nunn looking legit,
Nunn-Buddy back court with DS-PatBev-Reaves
Bron-AD-Turner front court with Jones-T.Bryant-Wenyen-JTA
Sounding more and more like a contender |

Really makes you wonder how much more watchable last season would've been with him in the roster.
Looks great |

i think Nunn starts
-can shoot 3, can create his own shots
-lack of play making can be made up by LBJ and RW.
-RW is a taller rebounding guard, and since we have too many guards, and we play a real Center with AD, Nunn/RW backcourt is ok. |

So far, healthy nunn looks like a better more all around version of Schroder. |

Inside Final Stages Of Kendrick Nunn’s Comeback
Quote: | In two preseason games, Nunn is averaging 17 points per game, shooting 52.9% from downtown on more than five attempts a night.
The 27-year-old looks to be a lock-on candidate to feature in L.A.’s starting lineup besides LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook at the start of the season
— and could prove to be one of the major roster reinforcements if he keeps up his form. | https://lakersnation.com/lakers-news-exclusive-inside-final-stages-of-kendrick-nunns-comeback/2022/10/10/ |

Guy can handle the ball and score at all three phases of the game. I think it’s better to have him come off the bench. He will have much more freedom and be able to keep that second unit alive while Bron and Ad sit. |

PatBev is the ‘3&D’ so closing line up is
Westbrook-Nunn-PatBev-Bron-AD
Wish it was Nunn-PatBev-6’7/6’8 3&D-Bron-AD tho |

It's been an up & down preseason for KNunn. He has shown flashes but has been cold of late.
Would love to see him bounce back with a big game Tuesday. Stats:
12.6 PPG, 3.2 RPG, 2.6 APG |

Some of these takes are odd to me. Why would Monk take less money? _________________ The most important shot in basketball. |

START NUNN!
His defense needs to improve but he is a better fit with the starters and he can actually make a shot. |
