Not even close. Boozer was undersized and a poor defender. The Jazz could never get past the Lakers or Spurs because they were too small. | a front court of Odom, Boozer, and Bynum is not small. Maybe boozer wasn't as versatile as Pau, but I see them making the wcf in 06 if Boozer is on the team.
I'll always wonder what the FO was thinking during the 04 off season. They seriously couldn't get a better trade package for O'Neal than Odom, Butler, a washed up Brian Grant and just one 1st round pick? If they ask for the 2008 pick I'm sure they get it. Imagine having love, Mayo, or Westbrook on those championship teams. |
Bynum didn't become a rotation player until 06-07. Once Bynum became a rotation player, he would've operated in the same spots as Boozer, which would've been a problem. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

Just like Sasha instead of Prince...
It happens. Lakers have had their fair share of drafting success stories as well. |

Dodged a bullet, imo. Boozer put up numbers in the regular season but got owned by size in the playoffs. |
