Never say never, Minnesota would be 1 of the best teams in the NBA with KAT/LeBron/Edwards and ring chasing vets, even a Laker fan would admit that it would be a intriguing situation.
he's not going to minny. it will be Dlo/Bev for Russ
Minny would hang up the phone in such a Russ trade.

I’ve always been a DLO basher, but that would be an obvious ripoff for us. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

Anyone for Russ is a rip off 😂
Market value for Russ is him+frp for Wall.
Getting anyone positive, let alone 2 positives+expirings, for Russ is something you take and run before the other team realizes their mistake.

"We never had a chance to play together" - AD
That's just a keyword to say we have a trash teammate in Russ Westbrook
He's copied that same quote probably 100+ times at this point..
Everyone knows the season was a failure.. He's always trying to keep things positive in most of his random tweets I see and it seems more that then some deep thought and I agree I am not a fan of it but it's not that serious at all. Seems kind of petty and sad at this point you have posted the exact irrelevant random tweet a million times. Your passive aggressive replies as well aren't remotely clever and are getting beyond stale.. Everybody on this forum knows you have this weird fascination about constantly saying the exact same things over and over in slightly different ways about Bron. Go ahead and trash him if you want but at least throw a little thought into it and not dumb it the more you post. You're basically a HalfTroll Bron Bot at this point and nobody even takes you serious so what's the point?
They've been trying to trade him since December 2021.
It's not about wanting Russ gone. It's the fact that no other team wants him, and will ask the Lakers for possibly multiple picks to dump him. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

says who?
Try using Google. It's been an open secret and they aggressively shopped him at the trade deadline, and no team wanted him unless we included future 1sts for him. That's not how a "superstar" or "star" is valued when you have to attach picks to get rid of him. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
Might be witnessing changing of the guard, Luka/Giannis/Tatum/Jokic leaping Bron/KD/Steph/Kawhi
Just need AD to make the same leap
Didn't AD do this already with his 28/10 playoff championships in 2020? But AD is a big guy and not a guard he can't control the game like a wing or guard can from the outside.
Jokic is rare in that he can control it with his elite passing/PG like skills, but AD does not have this.
AD's hit his peak in 2020, which was about as good as anyone else in the league, he just declined after that due to injuries. If he can get back to that level, it alone will put the Lakers back in the playoffs.

I don't see any reason Davis can't have a season like the one Embiid just had. Brought it every night and dragged a team to the playoffs. That should be the bar for him. _________________ 14-5-3-12

It’s a bit of a different scenario now that he’s an expiring I don’t expect to get a great return on him but as as aspiring you could get rid of him
Nobody on our team deserved to be on that list. Notice every last one of them made the playoffs, except one guy.
It's not common for a player to wish the playoffs and make the all-NBA team, but it does happen every few years. Kemba Walker, Kevin Love, and DeMarcus Cousins are a few guys who had that happen as well.
Throwing out the year we lost to Phoenix since he was hurt and left early in two games this is what AD has done in his three previous playoff performances:
AD's first three playoff stints:
31.5 points (54% fg, 88.9% ft), 11 rebounds, 2 assists, 1.3 steals, 3.0 blocks in 43 minutes across 4 games
30.1 points (52% fg, 27.3% 3p, 82.8% ft), 13.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 2.0 steals, 2.3 blocks in 39.8 minutes across 9 games
27.7 points (57.1% fg, 38.3% 3p, 83.2% ft), 9.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.2 steals, 1.4 blocks in 36.6 minutes across 21 games
There's a pretty good size sampling of him there with 34 playoff games.
So how do those other big guys stack up in their stints? Let's examine it.
Embiid's Playoff Stints:
21.4 points (43.5% fg, 27.6% 3p, 70.5% ft), 12.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 0.9 steals, 1.8 blocks in 34.8 minutes of 8 games
20.2 points (42.8% fg, 30.8% 3p, 82.2% ft), 10.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 0.7 steals, 2.3 blocks in 30.4 minutes of 11 games
30 points (45.9% fg, 25% 3p, 81.4% ft), 12.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.5 steals, 1.3 blocks in 36.3 minutes of 4 games
28.1 points (51.3% fg, 39% 3p, 83.5% ft), 10.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1 steal, 1.5 blocks in 32.5 minutes over 11 games
23.6 points (48.4% fg, 21.2% 3p, 82% ft), 10.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.4 steals, 0.8 blocks in 38.5 minutes of 10 games
Jokic's playoff runs:
25.1 points (50.6% fg, 39.3% 3p, 84.6% ft), 13 rebounds, 8.4 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.9 blocks in 39.8 minutes of 14 games
24.4 points (51.9% fg, 42.9% 3p, 83.5% ft), 9.8 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.8 blocks in 36.5 minutes of 19 games
29.8 points (50.9% fg, 37.7% 3p, 83.6% ft), 11.6 rebounds, 5 assists, 0.6 steals, 0.9 blocks in 34.5 minutes of 10 games
31 points (57.5% fg, 27.8% 3p, 84.8% ft), 13.2 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.6 steals, 1.0 blocks in 34.2 minutes of 5 games
Those three have different games.
* AD is far and away the best defensive player of the bunch. He can guard the perimeter and is the best shot blocker. Offensively he has a well rounded game.
* Embiid is the least efficient offensive player by a wide margin. But is generally well rounded. It irks me when people say AD settles for jumpers when Embiid settles far more than he does.
* Jokic is by far the best passer, and has a very well rounded offensive game. He's by far the worst defender though. He's also been the most durable of the three.

Yeah All-NBA voting isn't MVP voting. There's much less bias towards team success.
