I don't know if you caught the last game but he sustained an ankle injury. So they started treatment right after the game and are continuing treatment he sat out practice yesterday and did treatment instead and they're going to try and hopping him up with whatever they can to patch them up enough to play tonight but… There it is. (or there's the belief that he really isn't injured and he's just playing injured but I don't personally subscribe to that one. A lot of things can happen when adrenaline is pumping and a lot of things can change once the adrenaline stops.)

EDIT - i'd also add that this game - I mean they're all important because our record is a mess - but this game in my opinion is not as important as the last game was. I'm still trying to mentally recuperate from the fact that we lost to New Orleans given the ramifications of doing so. |

If this was peak AD, he would suit up and punish the mavs lacking interior.
But this is Hollywood AD, who is complacent, out of shape and enjoying his time off in street clothes knowing that max check continues… |

This is lequit, where he knows team is trash so he hides behind a tweaked ankle.
Whatever, just end this all. 37 year old isn’t worth this headache. (bleep), even Cleveland doesn’t want him They are doing just fine with their GM and roster building. |
It’s okay to be disappointed that he might not play. I am too, but if you’re not complaining about AD pretending to be more hurt than we thought than save that energy for LeBron too whose ankle nearly touched the floor like AD’s. Everything isn’t a conspiracy.
Cleveland doesn’t want him. Doubt that. Guess who does, Miami from Riley to Spo and it looks like Butler has outstayed his welcome and caused enough issues that they might move on from him. Switch players |

The fact he’s not even a game time decision should hint to how bad a twist it was. Honestly he shouldn’t return until Friday on the tail end of the back to back. AD seems days away from returning but it might be too late by then…. |

Look I would love for us to get in and make noise but we know the more likely scenario is getting knocked out of the play in |

At this point I wonder if it's his call or if it's up to the medical staff. I remember Klay seemed - and kind of hinted to - being ready to go before the med staff finally gave him the A OK |

I didn’t say he’s pretending. He was obviously good enough to be a full participant in practice.
When Griffin said “he’s not the same animal anymore” he had the correct opinion but on the wrong player. That’s AD now.
As for Lebron, everything he does is calculated. If he felt there was a chance for him to benefit, he would play. That’s why he says “round the clock treatment” for injuries where he isn’t ruled out for weeks. It’s clear he doesn’t believe in this roster, one that he wanted. So in typical Lebron fashion he is distancing himself…but I’m sure he will find a way to play 3 more games. |

They are the 4th seed with Denver and Utah chasing their tails, Dallas should go all out to win unfortunately |

I'll watch some of this game because I'm a Lakers fan. When it becomes too painful, no longer a contest, I'll change to the Boomerang channel and watch some Bugs Bunny, Tom & Jerry, Road Runner & Wile Coyote. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
