A wise man named Barkley once said Jim Buss and Mitch Kupchak are "rolling over in their grave(s)." |

Why the anger? They played well enough to compete, they just have to build on it. |

Isn’t that what everyone was saying for the last 30 games? Even James Worthy finally admitted he’s tired of being a broken record repeating this statement over and over. _________________ |

Have to shake things up….easiest move is to fire Vogel…we can’t play worse, and there is bo way Vogel should keep his job after this season anyway so might as well see if a different voice can have impact….should have happened way sooner when it was obvious he wasn’t getting the team to perform….would be great to move some players….but that seems a lot less likely in season….the plus is LBJ has been great, but obviously time is catching up with him…..Davis has been great since his return so we can still be competitive next year….maybe even this year since a number of our minimum guys are playing way above their contract, most notably monk, but also melo, reaves and even AB on some nights |

Fire Pelinka, fire Vogel, fire Rambis, trade EVERYONE. I would prefer a talentless roster that tries hard. I thought we hit a low with DLO tripped over the ball or when they over-celebrated a win that meant nothing (the one Kobe made fun of). What we had last night was Russ was awful most of the game, can on in the end and once again continually mis-rotated, whiffed on defense. Monk, AD, Reeves even Ariza played hard. Russ? 44M??? Baze...I don't remember him being that bad or running so upright it is like someone swapped bodies. He is so lost on the court and doesn't exhibit any of the athleticism he had. If the Clippers can take it to the Lakers with THREE starters out including their best two players, no way this team does anything in the playoffs, if they even make it. BLOW IT UP. |

Just build around Andrew Reeves. What do they have to lose? |

Worst laker team of my life. Been following for 35 years. I know they had some brutal seasons when they were tanking but that was intentional. They’re actually trying to win with 3 Hall of Famers on their squad. People compare this to 2013? That team was actually good in the second half of year. _________________ 17 time World Champions |

At least that team had the excuse of talent disparity. |

This team has a small margin of error to make the playoffs....one long losing streak and they won't even be in the play in game. |

We don’t have anyone to carry us when he sits. Which means he has to play. Which means the pace we need to win games at will break him down. _________________ Kobe.

Some of this board have said they want LeBron to leave ASAP. I get the downsides of having him and the unprecedented power he wields, but the problem is that when he leaves, we'll have lots of trouble attracting another generational talent who's also a leader because our FO doesn't look competent.
Remember the free agent meeting fiascos from several years ago when reportedly our pitch was pretty much "we're the Lakers. How could you not want to play for us?"
Instead of signing useful role players who fit this past summer, they went after washed-up has-been names like Trevor Ariza, DeAndre Jordan and Carmelo Anthony.
Everyone thinks that just because we're the Lakers, we'll soon get our next all-time great after LeBron leaves. Maybe, maybe not. The way our FO operates in some ways, it's looking more like we'll become the Boston Celtics instead. |

It’s not about being the lakers it’s about most teams have a guy.
The bron /ad duo won’t work anymore without exceptional pieces surrounding them because of how old bron is and brittle AD is.
We can not do a true rebuild IMO until he is gone. The next face of our franchise won’t be here until he’s gone.
The main reason is because of the bron window we get sold. _________________ Kobe.
