Amazing that this was our only non-vet min signing. Boy have we been shafted the last two seasons.
Hope he recovers... what a bizarre injury |

Lakers medical staff is a total joke and has been since the Gary Vitti days. |

There's a lot of variation to bone bruises. Some heal in weeks. In some rare cases, they take years to heal.
I can't blame Nunn for how long it takes his body to heal. There's nothing he can do to speed it up |

Very frustrating but I don't fault him. I also hope that whenever he does make his return he can stll have a real impact on the team. He has the talent and skills we are in search of these days. |

I was. Even have an AD jersey.
But he seems to be fat and happy now. Didn’t expect it based on what you hear about him… |

Wishing him a speedy recovery. He’s a big part of the cavalry. Just need to hang in there until him and AD return. |

I don't know if Nunn makes a difference on this team and I'm doubtful he ever plays a game in a Lakers uniform. Maybe if he would have been healthy and gotten enough reps in the pre-season, there may be some hope, but unfortunately, if the Lakers make a trade, he will be gone in a package... |

Thank you, Coach Spoelstra ...
Spoelstra on Kendrick Nunn and what LAL have been missing:
“He has that scoring punch, he can do it at all three levels. He ignitable. He can make plays off the dribble.”
Added that it’s quite a “bummer” that his knee has kept him off the floor all season.

(also see DAJ, Ellington, Bazemore)
Frustrating…. |

I posted some other things in the injury thread. The Nunn situation has been extraordinarily frustrating to me, ngl |

I am really looking forward to Nunn. Frank had the balls to sit RW (first part of getting this ship straightened out). Part II is running a Nunn/Monk backcourt. I still think people are sleeping on Nunn. The kid can play. Hopefully there is enough time for him to get his legs and mesh with the team. |

The thing is you waited this long. And odds are he'll opt in to that MMLE. So you'll have a player on your team with early bird rights 1.5 years from now. Decent asset, especially if he can show he plays the same level as last year.
If it's possible to play him and get some value out of him, building some continuity for next year, it would be good. Nunn, Monk, Reaves, Stanley. All those guys are 24-26 range next year they'll be in athletic primes. You need to invest in these guys and bring them back next year, IMO. Even if you view them as backups, they are high motor backups that have shown to fit around Lebron/AD, and Nunn may well show the same. |

Still "working really hard" to come back, according to Vogel.
Just that whenever they ramp up his involement, his soreness returns and so he goes back on the re-evaluate list.
I'm starting to doubt we'll actually see him this season, and even when we do, I am doubting he'll be playing often enough to gain any kind of rhythm or in-shape ness. Because if this bone bruise just keeps rearing it's head every time they slightly ramp up his activity then what's an NBA game going to do?
I doubt we'll see Nunn this season, and if we do, I have a lot of doubts he'll be able to play any consistent period of time before the 'soreness' returns and causes him to miss time again. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:
