Surprising how good Memphis has been this season. Should Morant have gone #1 instead of Zion? _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

Are we talking about the NBA or a hot dog eating contest?
I wonder how much he has to eat to be consuming such a big caloric excess, given how much he burns by being an athlete. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
No Adams means we don’t have to play dwight( although I hope he gets some minutes)
ja will probably plAy tomorrow, if nothing else, just to bump up his 3 point shooting %. Clippers are depleted, so it was understandable they want to load manage him today.
Memphis is 26-14 and on an 8 game win streak, including a victory against us on 12/29. They're a good team.
They're gritty and go hard for offensive rebounds. Got 16 today against the PaperClips and had 13 and 14 against us in the last two games. JJJ is going to be a load, and Ja, who didn't play today but likely will tomorrow, swings the hammer every play. We're going to have to do a good job on the glass and Russ cannot turn the ball over.
Grizzlies beat the Clippers 123-108 without Morant. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.

This will be a very competitive game between two play-off contenders (basically a must win situation for both teams).
After beating the Clippers, all while resting Ja Morant, the Grizzlies have their sights set on the Lakers.
Defensive pressure and rebounding will be key for the Lakers.

This game has playoff implications. The highest seed we could realistically finish with at this point is 4th, which the Grizzlies hold.
We trail them 1-2 in the season series right now. Winning this game would tie the season series, and if we tie them to end the season in the standings, we could still finish ahead of them.
Morant is day to day, but Grizz are still an excellent basketball team without him.
Will be a tough one but winnable. The season hinges on the development of younger guys like Monk, Reeves, THT, so they need to put on strong performances.
