And Westbrook isnt even one of them.
In players who have attempted at least 50 3pt shots this season:
AD is #1 (17.9%) and THT #9 (24.2%)... THT has barely played half the games too.
Westbrook is also terrible (54th worst at 30.8%) but who would've thought he'd get outdone by two players on this team.
I figured 50 is a good round number on volume of attempts so far. It stays roughly the same if you filter out the noise by a minimum of minutes played also.
Theres no way to fix this team when all 3 of them get 30+ minutes; how the hell are we supposed to play offense with 3 of the worst shooters in the nba each getting major minutes. |

Fortunately Westbrook contributes in so many other ways. _________________ "I bought the Lakers so I could beat the Celtics" - Dr. Jerry Buss |

It's not that bad, if you effect the game in other areas. I don't mind AD's 3 point percentage because he effects the game in different areas. As well as him not taking that many 3's a game. I definitely don't want him to continue floating around the perimeter, shooting them; like he is 40%, but he does more. Now THT is another story. He doesn't effect the game substantially in any other area, and is a bad 3 shooter, which is bad. |

It's worse when you dig deeper into the numbers. According to tracking data, Russ is in the 97th percentile in 3pt shot quality, meaning his looks are generally more open and higher quality than 97% of the NBA.
His shot making however, factoring in that quality, is in the 10th percentile. |

a year ago, you can't leave him open for those mid range shots because he is close to automatic, now he sucks on those too which made teams play him more aggressively on defensive, and we know AD is not a banger. |
