LBJ - FEELING STRONGER EVERYDAY
Per Trudell
Key quote from LeBron in the walkoff:
“I’m starting to get a lot healthier as the season goes on, especally with my low ab and my groin. That’s been feeling a lot better as of the last couple weeks."

As said in LBJs walk-off interview
Per Spectrum (video at link)
"I've been in a good rhythm... My teammates have put me in good position and I just trust my work." @KingJames spoke with @LakersReporter after his 33-point performance against the Thunder.

AD OUT
Per Trudell
Frank Vogel said Anthony Davis will be out tonight for a second straight game, but his knee is “structurally sound,” and he’s considered day-to-day moving forward.
https://twitter.com/lakersreporter/status/1470193480953520129?s=21
Per McTen
Frank Vogel says that Anthony Davis (left knee soreness) will miss a second straight game on Sun vs. ORL. Vogel says Davis got an ultrasound on the knee that showed everything was structurally intact. Vogel says AD will be day to day moving forward, but DAL on Weds is possible

I'm glad he is out, so he can rest and come back strong. He doesn't need to force it. |

ARIZA WERKIN
Per Goon (video at link)
Trevor Ariza getting some reps up pregame. He’s just over two months out from his ankle surgery, and has been able to work in live sessions with the team.

Agreed. He has been adamant about playing through his various boo-boos. But if that's what's been slowing him down and why he's been looking slow and what have you then obviously it's better for him to just sit it out for a bit and get himself back closer to 100. |

VERY POSITIVE ARIZA NEWS
(Not great news for Rondo and Baze but Yanno...)
Per Goon
The Lakers say Trevor Ariza, Rajon Rondo and Kent Bazemore will practice with the South Bay Lakers tomorrow. Ariza is trying to take steps forward in his rehab. Bazemore and Rondo are getting reps since falling out of the rotation.

Per McTen
Trevor Ariza is expected to get in a practice on Monday with some members of the South Bay Lakers, plus Rajon Rondo and Kent Bazemore, as the Lakers' veteran forward continues his ramp up his activity towards making his regular season debut after undergoing ankle surgery.

Links to a larger article, I've quotes the Lakers injury part below. Full article prob behind a paywall. I'm an Athletic subscriber...(Subscriptions have been really cheap because of your holiday Black Friday whatever so it might be a good time to subscribe if you are so inclined)
Per Buha
Return timetable updates on Trevor Ariza and Kendrick Nunn, as well as the Lakers’ interest in Ben Simmons, in Shams’ latest report.

Per Shams
Quote: | Los Angeles Lakers
The Lakers are hopeful forward Trevor Ariza (ankle surgery) will return within the next one-to-two weeks and are hopeful guard Kendrick Nunn (bone bruise, knee) will return in January, sources said. Both players were expected to have important, potential starting roles for the Lakers this season, but have yet to play as they rehab toward full recovery. |

We just have to accept the fact that finding continuity this season most likely won't happen. This is why full roster overhauls are never a great idea. _________________ “You can't be held captive by the fear of failure or the fear of what people may say.” - Kobe Bryant |

If every team in the NBA that is dealing with the health and safety protocols had the same attitude as you there would be no point in playing anymore. |

Most teams are having players go in and out with injury or protocol but not every team is suffering in terms of their performance. And you can tell the teams that have been consistent and playing together. I believe that was Mamba Mentality's point and I agree. |

In terms of short term yeah it’s gonna sting but long term it shouldn’t affect the Lakers or anyone that is dealing with the health and safety protocols protocols, this is something we just have to live with until the virus and rising cases are destroyed. |
