By the time this season series is over Lakers have a good chance to reduce the margin of loss by at least 7-8 points. It’ll take a lot of work but I feel like they can do it. |

Hes not. He just doesn’t have the ball as much and takes less shots.
Lebron just hides his deficiencies |
Makes sense |
True, and also maybe Westbrook doesn't feel he has to do it all by himself, so that also helps.
I feel like LeBron and Westbrook keep each other in check and hide each other's deficiencies. |
ANd just what deficiencies does LeBron have the Russ covers up? |
Energy for one. Lebron can’t or maybe doesn’t choose to bo guard to the rim constantly. Well at least he won’t go overdrive in the regular season like that.
Russ has always been a bull in a China shop. At the age of 33 it doesn’t look like he’ll slow down from this type of play for at least a couple more years |

All russ’ turnovers throwing the ball into the crowd and his constant bickering while holding onto the ball from the refs gives lebron some rest. _________________ "I bought the Lakers so I could beat the Celtics" - Dr. Jerry Buss |

Pelinka-Lebron and AD really (bleep) this roster majorly. |

why do you think he is a min guy... |
And STILL much better than Westbrook. |
But Ellington comes in before Reaves. |
And people were "impressed" Rob got him for the league min. |
Go to understand there’s nothing Ellington is going to do that is going to move the needle that much he is a guy that you bring in that makes an occasional play for you here in there we need the guys that we paid big money to to make the place and then if you find a guy like Reeves under a rock it’s like found money |

Hopefully Doumbouya shows us something real since he's a forward and we need help at that position. |

When we have a big 2nd half lead LeBron gets complacent and walks the ball upcourt, which lets the other team off the hook.
Not hating on LeBron - just pointing out something he does that's not good.
That's what a team is about - covering for other people's weaknesses. |
Didn't say you were hating on LeBron. But LeBron walking the ball up the court to run a play is a deficiency? Let's say I were to agree with that. Russ taking the ball up the court out of control, which leads to a turnover, covers up for that? I'll take LBJ walking it up the court any day over THAT! |

Yeah just like how demolished the Blazers in the First Round of the 2020 playoffs?
With a healthy Lebron and AD we demolish the Blazers the remaining two games we play the Blazers this season. Or maybe they don’t care and load manage those games who knows. |

I just hate Westbrook as a player man. I really do i've never felt that way about a player before. Look at his playoff performances the last 4 years or so. It's atrocious and im gonna believe he's suddenly going to turn around and become a different player?
For all the (bleep) Dennis got he at least played defense. |

Walking the ball upcourt and milking the shot clock the way LeBron does when we have a lead can allow the other team to get back in the game and even win, like OKC did to us.
Find a happy medium between the two things. Keeping pushing the pace and playing our game, but of course be under control. If we have a 15 point lead, great. Get it up to 25 and make it hurt like a b!tch for the other team. |

Not sure about better player at this stage of their career, but better fit for sure. The FO probably just wanted to counter Brooklyn's big 3. Or bigger name to sell tickets?? |

There wont be any turn around for Westbrook. He’s gonna play badly and become a cancer - probably will stop talking to the press, etc. _________________ "I bought the Lakers so I could beat the Celtics" - Dr. Jerry Buss |
