Same stuff we heard last year, and then injuries happened right when we were supposed to 'turn it on'. Which put us in a desperate situation from then on. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I really hope my "concern" is just me being silly. But *part* of me cant help seeing this happen...
"It's just pre-season"
"It's just mid-season"
"It's still just the regular season..."
etc, etc.
Let's just say...yea, I'm a tad on edge. Feel free to use that against me should the team get off to a nice start I'll be more than happy if they do. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. If they are going to struggle without LeBron, then it becomes a more difficult decision to give him some rest games during the regular season. |

Is it too early for me to think "what if" the Hield trade went down instead?
Ok, I'll shutup. It is too early for that. I think. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. He truly has no idea that he’s not as good as he thinks." - Killer_Z |

For what it’s worth, the Lakers were kicking ass last season before AD wore down. 22-6, iirc, going about 3/4 speed. And then Solomon Hill dived into Lebron’s legs and ended our chances. So the mid season regular season stuff didn’t really apply last season. |

You are correct but even then a number of us (including me) wondered just how good that team was at the time. They had a rather puff-like schedule as I recall, including a stretch of barely beating subpar teams.
Let's just say...I'm cautiously...cautious? _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. He truly has no idea that he’s not as good as he thinks." - Killer_Z |

I remember the Heat in 2010 started 8-7 in their first 15 games then went on a 12 game and 9 game winning streak in their next 25 games... |

I mean ...how about just a close one down the stretch for once? _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. He truly has no idea that he’s not as good as he thinks." - Killer_Z |

This isn't 2010. And neither is LeBron, Carmelo or Westbrook. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went with The Glass Is Half Full scenario rather than The Glass Is Half Empty scenario.
If LeBron has to play 75 games so they can get to 50 wins, he might not have a full tank for the playoffs. |

You mean Dwight Howard?
AD is one of the toughest guys out there. Hardly a coward if that’s what you were calling him. |
AD one of the toughest? FOH with that (bleep). |
Ok tough guy…relax.
AD is having a solid game.. |
wat? You're the one that said AD is on one of the toughest guys out there which is f'king ludicrous...because he's not. |
I meant he’s been tough in this game. He’s been all over the place. Dunking on people, rebounding, etc. that’s defined as tough…right?
No need to get pissy with me. I think AD had a solid tough game. My opinion. |

As an aside, I believe Dwight for the Lakers the only +

True, we are seeing how this team lacks athleticism (my first game of the preseason). _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |
