Hell of a career!
Quote:
Pau Gasol has called a press conference for Tuesday in Spain, where the expectation grows that the 41-year-old is poised to announce his retirement as a player.
According to the basketball reference website players are eligible for the Hall of Fame after they have been fully retired from play for at least three years.

The question is will the Lakers wait to retire Pau's jersey until he is officially inducted into the hall of fame or will they retire his jersey before then. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.

I have it on live IG. I think I missed the part in English (or the entire conference is in Spanish, since he is in Spain) so I don’t know what he is saying. But he looks and sounds great 👍🏾

He is indeed retiring
Per Stein
Pau Gasol's retirement press conference has begun in Spain: The two-time champion with the Lakers, as expected, has announced today that he is ending his playing career after 19 NBA seasons and a return to Barcelona last season.
This is the emotional part where he says he´d wish Kobe could be there with him today, mumbles that life´s unfair, and expresses how much he misses both him and Gigi. He acknowledges Kobe as one who helped him be a better leader and competitor, a winner, and finally says that he´s always been like a big brother to him:
Melancholy, yes, for the retirement of one of my sports heroes, a symbol of a kind of basketball almost totally gone, and the last man standing among the legendary pre-LeBron run. But man, so much magic he left in my memory...That will never go away.
Besides, he´s one of those rare elite sportsmen who´ll manage to live a meaningful life after the phone stops ringing, after the media forgets about you, and when the new generations won´t even know about his legendary skillset, which I think is one of the best of all time when we talk about the PF/C position.
I had the chance to meet him briefly years ago, almost in his prime, and the warmth he exudes, the way he is able to be so kind and stay with zen-like calm and charm with you while surrounded by (not always respectful) people is just remarkable.
Stainless steel may be most famous for its capacity to resist corrosion and rust, making it a favorable choice for your kitchen.
Still, if you have stainless steel appliances, you probably know that water stains and fingerprints can decorate the surfaces of refrigerators, dishwashers, and ovens. Grime, dirt, and dust, may put them at risk for rusting.
Harsh chemical cleaning items at a high price that promise to return your appliances to their original beauty tend to fail to fulfill their promises. The truth is, it’s easy to maintain stainless steel products that you buy after putting intensive research into The best reviews TheKingLive.com. You do not need any of the high-priced cleaners.
Here are some of the best ways to clean your appliance to a flawless finish.
1. Olive oil and white vinegar
Spray white vinegar directly onto the surface, or apply to a microfiber cloth. After letting it sit for a moment, wipe in the grain’s direction. You should use the vinegar many times until you manage to get rid of any grime. After that, dab a clean towel into olive oil and polish the surface you just freshly cleaned in the grain’s direction.
2. Dish soap and mineral oil
Dish soap does a great job of cleaning any grime from stainless steel. Be sure to wipe along the grain of the appliance. Go over areas with extra stubborn fingerprints a few times. To polish, dab mineral or baby oil onto the second rag, and do the same as in the cleaning process.
After spraying club soda directly onto your appliances, wipe in the grain’s direction. This method not only helps clean the surface of food residue and fingerprints, but gives it a subtle shine.
4. Glass cleaner for fingerprints
You can remove fingerprints easily with any common glass cleaner, like Windex and other Amazon products made for the same purpose. Spray it on a cloth. Then, apply evenly in a circular motion to get rid of the fingerprints. Repeat as necessary. You shouldn’t spray directly onto the appliance because you may end up with more splatter residue and drip marks.
5. Lemon oil furniture polish
Apply a small amount of it to a towel and rub on the appliance. As soon as you have evenly applied, use a different cloth to wipe clean. Don’t apply the polish directly to your stainless steel surface, since you may not apply it evenly and have to clean off the excess.
6. Flour
To prevent creating a bigger mess, you may want to use this cleaning tip for your sink, or maybe your pans and pots. First, clean it thoroughly to get rid of any grime, grease, or dirt probably caked on. Cover it in flour once it has dried. Next, shine the sink with a soft cloth. It’s that simple.
7. Water and a cloth
You can accomplish lots of routine cleaning using a lint-free cloth and warm water. It is considered the least risky way to clean stainless steel. Plain water can clean most messes. Prevent water spots by drying with a cloth or towel. You should use microfiber cleaning cloths when polishing stainless steel, as they are excellent for absorbing water without scratching the surface.
Stainless steel appliances, with positive real product reviews, are durable and easy to maintain. Still, regular cleaning is necessary. The key to keeping them stainless includes appropriate maintenance and care. With the techniques mentioned above, your stainless steel appliances will retain their marvelous looks for a long time.
