If Harrell /and or Morris walks in FA we should try to convince Nikola Mirotic to comeback to the NBA, he’s familiar with AD and can give us a potential stretch 4 off the bench something Morris hasn’t been able to do almost all season long. |

Lebron already trying to recruit Steph before the play-in

Would rather go after DeRozan than Wall in the offseason. |

Good luck with that. Steph will retire a warrior. Lacob didn't build that stadium in SF to watch the face of the franchise leave. Plus teams might have learned from the Lakers and Kobe's last deal. Don't crap on your superstars late in their careers. It's a bad look.
Besides, klay will be back next year and we can all go back to hating the dubz.

I'd be surprised if the Lakers sold for less than $7B, quite honestly. That's chump change for guys like Elon.

The cowboys are probably the highest because of Jerry World.
Forbes puts a lot of value into the assets of a franchise. So new Arena/Stadium spikes the valuation.
Like active said, it’s all about the bidding. Imo if the Lakers ever did go up for sale, the would blow the Warriors out of the water. If GS got $3B, the Lakers would get over $4B. |

I watched him many times this season here in Europe. He has a bad season to be honest so far. He is not playing good this year at all. But would be interesting pick up I agree. |

This is where we will have issues.
Trezz/Drummond/Gasol/Kieff may all be gone.
Then you have Dennis/AC/THT (he's 100% staying) as FAs too.
We only have the mini MLE right now to replace all them, or vet's min. deals. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

For sure. My $4B/$3B was just an example.
A Lakers sale would be the biggest bidding war in history of sports. |

Not doubting you...but how did they offer DS 4 years $84 million which was reportedly rejected? Emplay also reported how the Lakers could give DS that deal and also sign Drummond to $9 million a year. |

We have Schroder's Bird rights. I saw that Pincus mentioned giving Drummond the non-taxpayer MLE of $9.5M, but that strikes me as one of Eric's flights of fancy. If our payroll drops that far, then Drummond is only one of several major spots to fill. _________________ Internet Argument Resolved |

Thanks AH....I like Drummond but IMO for what he brings to this team it's not worth the MLE...for this team he's no more than $7-8 million a year.
You have to consider the regular season where he would play more due to sparing AD wear an tear....but he probably plays no more than 24-28 minutes tops in the play-offs. |

Yeah. Drummond at prorated minimum, awesome.
Having to shed so much of the team's payroll, i.e. KCP/Kuz, etc. to give Drummond that amount? Nah. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

More likely giving him the opposite of bulletin board material. |

Kuzma and #20 for Christian Wood?
Resign all guards. sign DeRozan with tax mle, Bjelica with minimum
DS/Caruso
KCP/THT
LeBron/DeRozan
AD/Bjelica
Wood/Gasol
DS, DeRozan and Wood can carry us while we load balance Lebron and AD during regular season. Thats good balance of defense, ball handling and shooting. |

Umm, I would love that, but highly doubt that the Rox do that deal. They got him for cheap. It will have to be for much more than Kuz. Likely THT/Kuz/2021 pick, maybe another future one. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Wood has a lot more value than Kuzma. The #20 pick wouldn't bridge the gap. As a general rule, any trade involving Kuzma will need to assume that the decisionmaker on the other team has fallen in love with Kuzma. He is only marginally better than replacement level. But if he gets hot in a couple playoff games, we might find someone who overvalues him.
I'm not sure how you get a borderline all-star like DeRozan to take the taxpayer MLE, but sure, that would be a great signing. _________________ Internet Argument Resolved |

Isn’t it his first time? After coming back from a life threatening diagnosis?
Well at least Caris now has time to make YouTube videos, talk about what’s a fair deal for his services, get testy with the media when asked about his 2nd COVID situation.
Let’s see how Dennis performs in the playoffs because it sure looks like Vogel is comfortable going to THT and AC who have been reliable all season and don’t talk about getting $20M+ every other month.

Myles Turner is good, but man is he overrated on LG.
Pacers GM would go streaking in downtown Indianapolis if he got THT. |

maybe but Myles/ad front line would be ridiculous. Defensively and the ability to step outside |
