No, but they said they would be smart with the minutes. |

Good win - reminds me of last season, where Lebron would always take over in the clutch during close games. |

I agree. Drop to the 4 and get Dallas, or get the 3 and play us. |

So...We avoid the Clips 1st round, no matter what? Denver wins, we play them. Denver loses, we play "play-in" and play GSW, and then PHX? |

On paper we should have killed this team today. It tells you just how bad our team chemistry/conditioning is right now. I doubt a week is going to make much of a difference. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.

KCP has a habit of missing big open threes. Wes saved us last game. |
He was too wide open, overthinking it. |

This is just what they do. They could blow every team out in the first quarter but they play the score and keep it closer than it should be. The game was never in doubt. |

I think they are not playing hard. Lebron is just jogging out there. |

Lakers win 122-115
An "okay" win...best part of it was, overall, AD and LBJ played well, and are healthy.
Team was up 14 in the 4th and then of course, the drought occurred for almost 5 minutes and Pacers got within 3.
Then LBJ hit overdrive, scored like 5-7 in a row...game over.
I do have to question Vog's lineup calls. For example, when spacing became an issue during the drought, not playing AD at 5 and inserting Wes to also help the 3 and D (and taking out Dre). Also, Gasol not getting PT. This has been somewhat characteristic of the team all year and am concerned vs a high caliber team what could happen.
But, a win, is a win. We can bemoan these potential issues another day. Lakers still have a shot, if they and Denver take care of business, to avoid the play-in. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. Harrell got Center time today. With Gasol off the bench they would add to those leads. Gasol @ C is mostly positive +/-. Harrell @ C is mostly negative -/-. |

It is what it is. Team’s been fully healthy for maybe a third of the season, they’re going to have to figure something out in this coming week.

Entire Laker starting lineup had double digits in scoring, led by AD (28) and LBJ (24)
Outrebounded Pacers 45-37
BUT...gave up 60 paint points. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. He truly has no idea that he’s not as good as he thinks." - Killer_Z

We do avoid the Clips no matter what in the 1st Round now, yes.
If Denver beats Portland, we play Denver IF we beat the Pelicans.
Golden State and Memphis are still battling for the 8 seed. We host one of those teams, if we get the 7, in the play-in. And those two teams play each other in the final game, so both will be highly-motivated. Big difference between being the 8 and the 9. If you are the 8, you only have to win one of two games to make the actual playoffs as the 8 seed. If you are the 9 (or the 10), you have to win two in a row to get into the playoffs.
Phoenix and Utah are also battling for the 1 seed, so we don't know who will get the 1-2 yet. If the Suns win their last 2 (and they play a Spurs team that has nothing to play for, locked into the 10 seed) and if Utah loses its last game, then Phoenix would get the 1 seed.
Update, the Suns are beating the Spurs by 33 in the 3rd quarter lol. |

That's the way I see it. Only uncertainty is GS vs Memphis tomorrow. |

Good to hear. Lebron shouldn't have to play like an MVP if AD assumed that role this season. We'll see. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024 |

Regarding the Pelicans game tomorrow...
Andrew Lopez
@_Andrew_Lopez
Pelicans say Adams, Hart, Lonzo, Ingram and Zion are all OUT for tomorrow's finale against the Lakers.
Wes Iwundu (left shoulder sprain) and James Johnson (left knee contusion) are questionable.
