Leaving the bench area is not a surprise. I wondered how some of the players actions would be interpreted. The TV angles did not really show anything but there is always that risk if you literally “step over the line”.
Actually surprised Harrell did not get suspended a game for being that 3rd man in instigator.
The NBA at least gave Anunoby the biggest fine, but no suspension for lifting and slamming a player? Find that inconsistent.
With THTs absence it can open up an opportunity for others to step up. Maybe a McClemore shooting exhibition? Lakers could use some positive energy.
The whole scuffle was entirely the ref’s fault. A pair of no calls on the 2 possesions prior got the players all riled up. Anunoby, frustrated from the no call, thought that the hard foul from DS was more than just a hard foul and flipped DS. When he figured out DS was just helping him up, it was too late and the tension was already high.
All of it couldve been avoided if refs didnt swallow their whistle.

Trent Jr was the 3rd man escalating everything. He wasn't in the play and came in a few seconds later standing directly over DS instead of dealing with his own team.
Harrell got ejected because he ran into the scrum and shoved Trent. If he had been standing in the scrum and had done the same thing, he wouldn't have been ejected. It was the running part that got him ejected (and now fined), not the little shove. Trent didn't do anything to merit an ejection, suspension, or fine.
If THT left the bench, one of our assistant coaches failed to do his job. That's an automatic suspension. _________________ Internet Argument Resolved

Did people think what Anunoby did was intentional?
Hmmm, not sure...let's think about it. Pick up a guy who was holding you up, sweep out his legs and slam him on the ground.....
not sure....intentional?
lol....he's lucky he didn't get punched in the throat.
Shouldve been suspended too. No excuse for that behavior.
I get that it’s just a technicality, but it’s a bit odd that THT would be suspended for leaving the bench but the guy who started it (if viewed as intentional) was not. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
So, the guy who DID THE BODY SLAM only got suspended for 1/2 a game (the ejection) and THT gets a FULL game?!
This doesn't add up, with any kind of quantifiable metric, logic, or plain common sense.
