A singular talent probably best known for his performances as Lt. Giardello in "Homicide: Life on the Street" and in Alien, Kotto's lead/co-lead performances in Across 110th Street, Truck Turner, and Blue Collar showcase his talents as an imposing, but empathetic performer and are absolute must-sees in his rich, varied filmography. May he rest in peace.

Little role I loved him in was Midnight Run. RIP. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel

He was a versatile actor. He did everything from Shakespeare to Sci-Fi. Even did westerns. I liked his role in 5 Card Stud as George the bartender. RIP _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
