Did he really? I read that on Twitter.

Yeah. They showed it on the Laker post game show. You could see him mouth Kobe. |
Emotional stuff...this entire year has been rough, from beginning to now, and this is our purple and gold lining. Thank you to AD for reminding us that being a Lakers fan is being a part of the family. It's all love! _________________ I miss you Kobe. I miss you Gigi. |

This game was too close. Awesome that ad hit that but we shouldn't have been in this situation _________________ Kobe |

We won a nail bitter. I was not pleased with Bron. He was a big reason for the win but he took some bad 3 point shots. His first one started the Nuggets come back. I was rocking back in my chair saying don't do it, don't do it. He did it. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Second game I remember in these playoffs where it seemed were trying to burn time and keep a lead instead of keep playing. Fortunately we won both. No reason with Lebron and AD on the court to take multiple last second forced shots at the buzzer in the closing minutes. |

The players, especially Lebron and AD, are really showing that not only do they have love and respect for Kobe and the Lakers but they also feel like it’s their duty to win it all this year. I love how everyone has elevated their level of intensity, it’s like they’ve tried to adopt that mamba mentality so they can honor him. |

Watching that slow grind down was what made this one so stressful. _________________ "We got a new universe coming and he's going to control all our universes. We're going to put our universes together" - Metta World Peace |

I'm too old for games like this, my head's going to end up looking like Caruso's. Good news is we won despite playing poorly down the stretch and turned over the ball way too much, Danny Green was shooting like garbage

Would be nice if DG can hit some wide open threes and if the team can stop throwing the ball away. Didn’t help much that the refs decided to go whole hog towards Denver today and gave us very little benefit of the doubt. Lakers almost gave this away but our Superstar big picked up the entire team and carried us home. Lebron had an amazing first half, but he either wore down or was hurt or was playing prevent offense and it almost cost us. Good thing we have two superstars who can pick up the other when they’re down. |

Glad AD came through in the end. We know Denver's adjustments are coming and I'm sure they've found what they think will work in Game 3. We've got to put an end to that dream. |
Yep - good news is Lakers now get to make adjustments (hopefully?) after seeing their offense go completely stagnant for alot of the second half. Should never have been that close.
I give Denver credit, Jokic came up big in this one; AD had something for him in this one though.
We really need to see some better penetration next game...when Lakers are attacking the basket on offense they do much, much better. |
it goes to show that Dwight disrupting Jokic is EXTREMELY important for our success. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I felt when Lebron got that charge call it threw him off a bit.
Started settling for out of rhythm jumpshots.
That’s when you gotta go back to your two man game with AD.
Vogel and co. should be able catch these little mishaps in the film session |

Love Dwight’s energy but he gotta talk less and just play ball.
Too much trash talk and I’d rather we don’t rack up any silly techs getting the refs against us. |

I really wish we could utilize Howard a little bit more. Use his post-ups when our offense is slowing and getting stagnant. Kind of like a safety valve to dump into a guy that can go get a high% shot. He is the only guy that can get great position down in the block |

That game has me concerned for the rest of the series. Denver made adjustments on defense and Lakers struggled in the 2nd half.
Pretty much our worst offense half since game 1 against Portland.
Lebron looked gassed. |

I know it has a good deal to do with the fact that Denver packed the paint, but LBJ looked all of his 35 years late in the game. Hopefully it isn't any sort of lingering injury or fitness / conditioning.
Three big observations:
1. We had more turnovers than assists. No bueno.
2. Fouls. Yikes.
3. When LeBron gets either gassed / frustrated, he needs to switch into facilitation mode and stop taking so many 3's. Also, we just look a little better when Rondo is bringing the ball up the floor and getting the offense set. |

When Lebron looked extremely gassed very early in the 2nd half. When he isn’t aggressive, this team struggles on offense. Denver was forcing him to be a scorer and more active off the ball and he didn’t have the energy. |

I completely agree; make jokic play some d on someone who will post up like he can |

They made a lot of (bleep) 3s and got a lot of help from the refs. We also played terribly and STILL won. _________________ Don't let perfect be the enemy of good |
