Lakers didn’t practice today (I’m just the messenger)
Hopefully that's strictly a confidence thing (considering their current opponent) and not a trend during the playoffs. Limiting practice time during the regular season made sense in order to keep fresh for the playoffs. But now? After all those months off?? Especially since the whole point of not practicing then was so they'd be fresh NOW (playoffs)? Strange. Hopefully they don't regret it in the long run. _________________ “Christ did not die to forgive sinners who go on treasuring anything above seeing and savoring God. There is only one day of rest between playoff games in the bubble. It doesn't mater if they had 4 months off. Their bodies need a little time to rest and heal from the game.
I can't even lift on back to back days when i do full body workouts cant imagine how exhausting a playoff game is.
Can’t wait to see which Laker team shows up. The one locked in on defense and controlling the game or the one that allows a team to dictate the pace of the game.
Fully expect Lillard and McCollum to have better shooting nights and a close hard fought game throughout. Should be a great game.
IMO we are going to find out a lot about the Laker team tonight. Can they make the plays to win a close game under pressure. My heart says yes. But they have to prove it.
On the other hand, I would’ve be opposed to another Laker blowout either. Certainly easier on my stress level. Lol.

This will be a hard-fought test of wills. I fully expect our defense to come through in the end.
Nah, the Blazers found out last night that they are not going to score on the Lakers like they did on other teams in the bubble. Expect to see more of the same tonight as the Blazers will let em fly from 3, and they will miss most of those attempts. Lakers are gonna take it to the Blazers tonight, and, when the game is over, the Blazers are gonna be left wondering whether game 1 was a dream.

Make no mistake, this is an important game fellas, it's been proven statistically that whoever wins Game 3, advances in the playoffs OVER 50% of the time.
That being the case, the Lakers figured out a blueprint for beating the Blazers in game 2 and no adjustments from the Blazers side is going to negate that.
That is; pressure the ball all the wall up the court, tighter defense in half court situations and offensively run the ball right at them, with speed to keep them from being able to double-team the ball. Lastly, keep hitting the offensive glass.
Now, you couple the above with the RETURN OF RONDO and Lillard wearing a splint (which will throw off his shot), there is no reason at all another 20 point blowout is in the making...!

I don't want to sweat this one. It's 10:21 am hear in Los Angeles and already 88 degrees going on 91. That's enough sweating. I'm hoping for another blowout. It won't break Portland but a good spanking can go a long way.
