Funny thing is Okafur was a UConn product. Calhoun (who runs the UConn program) and trained/prepared Emeka for the NBA - also saw the Andrew as someone that could be a top pick later on.
I look at Emeka and I think that Bynum would have had alot of success in UConn but at the same time killing any chance of the Lakers picking him unless they landed a top 2 pick in the lottery (and they wouldn't with Phil, Kobe and Odom on the team) |
