in what world is Michael Finley or SHawn Marion all star NOMINEES?
Finely definitely shouldn't get in, but Marion might be just outside of what you consider borderline.
At first glance his accolades don't yell HOF
1x Champion
4x All-Star
2x All-NBA
But he was a 20/10 player or close to for about a 7 year stretch. I remember him being a fantasy basketball stud for many years. He was the third most important player on the iconic/revolutionary 7 Seconds or Less Suns (one of the most talented teams to not win a championship). He was a key contributor to the 2011 cinderella championship Mavs.
According to HOF calculator he is at 76% probability to make the HOF. Above HOFs like Nate Thurmond, Dennis Rodman, Mitch Richmond, Artis Gilmore, Chris Mullin. He is also way above future HOFs like Manu Ginobili and Chris Webber. He is currently sitting in the #93 position and most of the guys above him are either in the HOF or will make it there eventually when they retire.
NBA hall of fame should start inducting duos and trios. You’ll have Kobe and Shaq as a duo, The big 3 in Miami and Boston, the Showtime Lakers, Badboy Pistons, etc. You’ll end up having two time hall of famers. Considering the NBA and WWE business model of “sports entertainment” are so closely tied these days, the nba might as well adopt their hall of fame formula as well. _________________ I miss you Kobe. Or triple nominees when you factor in Hall of Fame Kicks _________________ Mamba Made Moments Meticulously Magnificent

Good thinking. Starting from the least to the most dominant ones.
It certainly will create a buzz around the league as who get the last... _________________ Kobe's Top 5 Dunks, 81 points, MJ last gm @Staples

Say what? Mark Eaton is nominated? I realize that it's just a nomination, but I'm still astounded that anyone would put his name on the list.

Cowbells never blocked my jumpshot
2002-06-03 04:00:00 PDT Sacramento -- Shaqramento. The Kings were going to put this city on the map with this Western Conference Finals series, but that isn't the name they were hoping for.
Clang the cowbells slowly.

Not to be. Kobe Bryant was prophetic in his pregame statement.
"Cowbells never blocked my jump shot," Kobe said, and that might be the title of the Lakers' season highlight video.
If it's any consolation to the locals, their town is now a lot safer. With the bells returned to their rightful owners, you can walk the streets of Sacramento without worrying about cows sneaking up on you.

I can name a few -
Blake Griffin/CP3
Q Rich/Darius Miles
John Starks/Patrick Ewing
Earl Boykins/Michael Olowokandi
Some of those guys have to be Clippers hall of famers at the very least. _________________ I miss you Kobe. I miss you Gigi.

hall of fame means extraordinary. you gotta remember Manu will be easily a hall of famer because of what he has does internationally with Argentina as well as the Spurs. Kinda like Divac. So Manu's accolades trumps Marion. Webber should be in before Marion, over any metric except the championships. _________________ I got Nothing interesting to put here

And let's hear it for returning nominees Mugsy Bogues, Dale Ellis, and Richard Hamilton.
