Lamar is just playing on a superstar level now. It's only 2 games but this is the kind of (bleep) that makes you think he'll be the left hand man to Kobe in a championship run.
Bynum/Turiaf
Odom/Cook
Walton/Radman
Kobe/Evans
Parker/Farmar
Me likey that rotation ..... |

I wonder if Heat fans are now wishing they had kept Odom and Butler instead of Shaq. I mean, now that they've used him to get that championship and all. |

Ronny Turiaf had 23 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks in 25 minutes on 8 of 10 from the field. _________________ "Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate. Only love can do that." ~~Martin Luther King Jr.~~ |

It's official. Turiaf is one of my most favorite people ever. That was the most entertaining postgame interview since the late, great Stanislav's. _________________ bonerkillcollective.tumblr.com - peep our art. |

Tim Thomas shot away from great things last year but we had the league's WORST PG rotation AND bench. _________________ "Now we're so happy we do the dance of joy." |

You know who's been suprisingly good?
Radmanovic. The bench we have this year is very dangerous.
Turiaf
Cook
Radmanovic
Evans (Once Kobe comes back)
Farmar
It's been many games now that I've seen the 2nd unit come in and outplay their counterparts.
If Kobe comes back and they can stay healthy - this team could be a very, very dangerous team. |

I guess LO is pretty fond of the new ball despite his earlier comments. _________________ "Now we're so happy we do the dance of joy." |

didn't see the game (wasn't broadcast here or on TVU) but am extremely grateful for the people who contributed to the thread...
if this team can continue to have people step up like this, wow, the whole league better be on alert...

i know it's only two games...but we're destroying people in points in the paint. our bench is almost averaging 50 points over the last two games. plus in the high 20s in assist. _________________ "i was born down in the valley where the sun refused to shine, but i'm climbin' up to the highlands, goin' to make that mountain mine" ~ Lakers, 2011 |

Now we're saying when Kobe said Odom was one of the most talented players of all time (last season after the win at N.O.) he wasn't kidding.
There aren't too many guys with Odom's abilities on the court. I only wish that somehow Phil could get Odom's head right now and just store it forever. |

Ronny Roni, the San Francisco Treat!!...
Ronny had that intensity going.
We had some trouble, initially, establishing our own rhythm... Golden State was trying to run away with it... With their youth, and athleticism, the Warriors almost succeeded, but they didn't count on some of our own athletic youngsters. Vlad came alive, just enough, to do some good things, all-around...
Our team is already showing signs of coming together. We still have trouble, staying in front, on defense, and we don't clog up the middle enough. We started playing better defense, at the end. Odom is still the main workhorse, but Mo Evans, Turiaf, and an improved Walton show promises, of starting to pick up some major slack. _________________ "Teamwork is a nebulous thing. It is as ephemeral as love, disappearing at the latest insult.".... Phil Jackson |
