Best seats I've ever sat in (out of hundreds of games) was Phil Jackson's. He had two seats dead center court, four rows back. You're exactly high enough where everything isn't all flattened-out. It's a better location to watch the game than courtside -- I haven't sat courtside for the Lakers, but I've done so at other arenas, and Phil's seats were better.
Phil was hired by the Lakers the same year the team moved to Staples, and the seats came with his deal. He got to pick the seats he wanted before any went to season ticketholders, and out of every seat in the arena, these are the ones he chose.

there's something really great about section 318 row 1
full perspective of the whole arena, center court line, logo in the correct position for viewing
not nearly as expensive as lower level. we sat here for game 1 of the 2009 playoff run vs. utah jazz and it remains a great memory. _________________ Final moments 2010 NBA Finals Game 7:

Our family has had season seats 4 of them for a longer time than most of you have been alive...
Just off of center court by a few feet, 7 rows back. Love them because you are sitting at eye level with the players heads and are back enough to get a nice full look at most of the court without craning your neck side to side as the game goes from side to side, better overall scope, like a wide screen..... It's all just right in front of you...In fact have had chances at 3rd and 4th row but prefer this height for overall view angles...
And can you imagine I just got to 2 games this season, as I am spending more time over seas and on the islands these days.......But thank God for sat TV...
Best seats in the house do go to Jack however.....

haha I don't find laker cheerleaders that attractive.
better girls from other teams (much hotter) or other venues (concerts, clubs, countries where people are not obese, etc).

Mid court (either side) 6-8 rows up. Courtside is cool, but I think just being a little higher up helps you see more of the action. It is super exciting to be closer to the basket... for half of the game. But I'd rather have a consistent experience. _________________ "We got a new universe coming and he's going to control all our universes. That's OK, they don't notice you either... _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel
I always sit in the same place; behind the basket about 10 rows back. They're great seats. _________________ Lakers, today. Lakers, tomorrow. Lakers, forever.
