Huge mistake for the Lakers if they trade Gasol... please let that be the case

What a load of BS. Magic are getting very little value in return. Lakers as usual get the best end of the deal. Never fails.

f the Lakers get Howard while only giving up Bynum and a late 20's first round pick, that's just shocking.
Just an absurdly bad trade for Orlando. I can't believe the Lakers can get that done without giving up Gasol. Unreal. If true, I'm penciling in the Lakers for the Finals now.

I give up. The new Magic GM is either
a. Otis Smith with plastic surgery
b. Lakers spy planted by Mitch Kupchak
c. just a dumb piece of sh!t

How can they not give up Pau? How? The Lakers get these absurd trades every single time, every single year, it's **** nonsense.

can David Stern step in and block the trade again

Pau Gasol will have by far the best year of his career next year. I cannot even imagine how beastly Gasol and Howard will be together. I know the Lakers are in the west, but this is literally making me throw up in my mouth. Why, why, why?

You couldn't pull a deal like that in the CB Draft. So sick of the Lakers getting these deals.

And what will Magic get in return? Nothing!!?? They are giving up DH for nothing?!?! How come The Lakers can easily get anything they want... all star players... again... and again... and again!?
There goes our banner 18 and here goes the tier for banner 17 (Lakers)!

The Orlando Magic will receive AT LEAST three first-round picks. Source says they may get a fourth pick as well.
4th pick, now it all makes sense. looking at u philly or denver, time to pony up.
Oh. A 4th pick? Thank goodness. For a second there, I was going to call the Orlando local authorities for witnessing a sexual assault.

I think the big key here for Orlando was moving into prime position to nab another superstar by saavily stealing the #22, #25 and #30 picks in the draft.

Do we really want to see Lakers get another superstar 7 years from now?
Keep Magic away from #1 picks please.

So just to make sure I understand.
Lakers get the best player in the deal one for one, don't take back any bad contracts and three other teams agreed to allow this to happen?
Lmao.
Magic moving to Seattle?

Oh so these are the Melo trade like players Orlando talked about receiving.....
LOL a rocket fan is saying that Mitch is a Jedi, and the only reason we didn't get CP3 is because Stern is Sith. So the mind trick didn't work on stern _________________ “Power resides only where men believe it resides...A shadow on the wall, yet shadows can kill. This Celtics fan still thinks their team is elite.

The Lakers become very beatable if this trade goes down. Kobe's defense against Rondo isn't any different than what other teams play, but for some odd reason, Kobe gets praised for it. It's not Kobe that makes his "I'm going to dare you to shoot a jumper" defense so effective. It's Pau and Bynum guarding the hoop that makes Rondo tentative to drive to the hole. If they put Dwight in there, KG can just hang out by the baseline to draw him out, thus clearing a path for Rondo. I'm pretty damn sure Antawn Jamison/Al Harrington aren't coming in to block/alter Rondo's shot.
I'm hoping it goes through today, before Kobe has a chance to realize that they're getting swindled and kills the trade.
dude, it's actually kind of sad he really believes that..WOW

Also: Rob Hennigan is the general manager of the Orlando Magic. At age 30, he is the biggest joke of a GM in the NBA.

I don't think that person realizes that we didn't trade Pau. He/she is talking as though Dwight is the only big the Celtics would have to contend with.
Wait until they realize that all we did was trade Bynum for Dwight. Lol.
On a side note, I feel sad to lose Bynum. He was one of my favorites, since I was pushing for him to be drafted. I'm happy for him, though. He really will get a chance to grow into the best player he can be. The team will be built around him.

Do the 05, 06, and 07 seasons ring a bell? Admittedly, that's a pretty brief stretch of mediocrity, but still.
True, and even at that we were able to witness one of the greatest players of all time play at the most obscene level ... to the point where he became must-see-tv for all other NBA players. Thus, while we didn't win championships, it was still amazing to watch Kobe Bryant play basketball at the highest and most relentless of levels ever seen.

This one from an Orlando Magic board is downright creepy -

Im just disappointed that my generation of magic fans had to deal with this.
The thing I will always be disgusted with is that its always the Lakers.....spoiled....wealthy stuck ups...who get our diamonds. This statement is deep; for this happens between countries, cultures and individual. The MAGIC is still a dog that hasn't grown while it's rival becomes greyhound steroids.
AND yet, another year of mental distress of two names I don't even want to mention.
Curse of a magic fan. Gotta love it. Go Magic.
I almost feel bad for them....almost. _________________ I miss you Kobe. I miss you Gigi.
