Only second to Dancing Barry, or Sky, Tony Montana was one of my favorite contributors to this site. He had always posted arguments with a calm demeanor, even amongst agitated fans, which he’d come off somewhat patronizing. His style can’t be copied, and since he hadn’t posted as frequently, he was missed. Truly sad to hear, and you have my condolences. I’d liken the loss of Phil to that of a father figure of this site, then the loss of Tony is that of an older brother.
My deepest condolences to his family and friends. Like Just-Ming said, I also remember his posts as being calm and at times really funny. He will be missed on this forum. _________________ “Properly read, the bible is the most potent force for atheism ever conceived.”

Yeah, Tony was always a class act, my condolences. But don't be sad, I'm sure Tony is going to be listening to Chick calling the coming playoffs in the big Forum in the sky. _________________ Ringo "You retired too?"

From the bottom of our heavy hearts we here at Lakersground thank you for sharing the sadness of your tremendous loss. To most it would seem ridiculous that a bunch of strangers, most of whom have never actually met, could form any sort of meaningful bond over something so trivial as a sports team. But those folks simply haven't spent enough time on Lakersground. We knew your husband, we accepted him, and we valued him as a member of our tribe. We feel genuine sorrow in the news of his passing, and genuine appreciation that you shared your loss with us. We are honored to have shared his brotherhood in life and stand respectfully at your side mourning his loss. He will be missed, he will not be forgotten and we are all better for his decision to register and be heard that most fortunate day almost exactly 7 years ago.
May your sadness be tempered by our celebration of his life, and the knowledge that he touched thousands of us here at Lakersground. We wish the best to you, your family and your friends. We offer our sincere condolences as well as an equally sincere request that you come to us, his Lakers family, with ANYTHING that we could possibly do to ease your burden.
RIP Tony Montana.
Go Lakers.
