Sorry guys, but we all know we can't win forever. Sucks that it wasn't until Kobe retired or whatever, but it is what it is.

And that series has nothing on the train-wreck that was the 04 finals.

Getting swept by the Spurs in the last games in the Great Western Forum was bad too.

1) The Lakers held Dallas to 93 points on 42FG%. So defense wasn't the problem.

2) We outrebounded Dallas on the offensive and defensive glass. So rebounding wasn't a problem.

3) We had 10 TO's. Dallas had 11 TO's. Taking care of the basketball wasn't the problem.

4) So how did we lose by 12 points? 2 reasons. 3pt% and FT's. Dallas made 6 more FTs and shot 6 more 3pt shots than we did. Needless to say, our outside shooting sucks eggs.

I've tried to erase that series from my memory.

Our shooting was so bad. I thought for sure that one of the bench guys would step up and hit a few threes, but they were actually worse in this game.

This roster needs a couple of pure shooters in the worst way.

Exactly. To add:

5) We had move points in the paint.

6) We had more fast break points.

7) Four of our starters scored in double-digits.
