Wow, Lakers buckled down and played some D to finish this one. That really seems like the main difference to me between this game and some of the bad early season home losses to Indiana, Sacramento, etc. Lakers struggled to start the game in all of these and rallied in those games too, but they'd fall one or 2 stops short of making a successful comeback. Obviously a different story tonight. Got the stops and Kobe and Fish hit some big shots on the other end to put this one away.
Not that it really matters now, but I don't really get why that Artest play at the end wasn't a Double T. Wallace wasn't letting go of his shoulder either; feels like you see similar situations like this all the time in the NBA being called Double Techs. Fortunately did not cost the game though. |

Un-noticed but Ron pitched a shutout on Wes Matthews, 0 points. _________________ Before Lamar trade: Lakers-57 wins (2011)

I'd say hopefully you learn from this and stop making premature statements in the game thread, but I know that won't change. |

Good come back. Kobe firing up the crowd was a big f-u to the refs and GQ magazine for that hit piece on Laker fans.

BobbyJ, did I or did I not tell you to calm down in the 2nd quarter?
It's almost unfair that we have the clutchest back court in the league. |

Not to be sexist/ but palmer hasn't given kobe a call since he got married. Before that he could do no wrong with her. |
