Are you kidding?

I get the criticism of Fisher being unathletic, a poor defender, etc.

But selfish is a new one.

bad game by KOBE, but he just couldn't make any 3 tonight, that's bad.

THOSE KOBE CHOKE IN CLUTCH IS CRAZY!! SEE HOW THEY DEFEND HIM!! THEY FOUL AND MAKE PHYSICAL CONTACT!!!

Lakers have to find a way to get easier shots for Kobe. Kobe going 1-on-1 isn't working as reliably as it used to in crunchtime anymore.

need more catch and shoot, but i still have faith in his fadeaway!!!

We need to define selfishness first. Selfishness means that he's putting his own success above that of the team. There are tons of things to criticize him for, but after a decade or so, it's clear that the guy is all about winning. Criticize him for flawed judgment, if you want, but that doesn't necessarily amount to selfishness.

I've pointed out that shot from game 3 before and described it as a scary thing. He misses that shot, Lakers don't even come home for game 6. I'm still very worried that we are so dependent on this guy. I think our dependency on him is very similar to our dependency on Horry in that we believe they were clutch. Horry missed everything in '03, and I hope Fish doesn't do the same.

No doubt. Kobe's got the best mid-jumper and fadeaway in the league. Just wished Phil would come up with something so Kobe wouldn't have to work so hard or shoot over two defenders in crunchtime everytime for us to pull out wins. Especially when Kobe's got long-armed orangutans like Marion or Sefolosha on him.

Errr, both players have proved beyond the shadow of any possible doubt that they're clutch. Horry missed that shot because he had to play wayy too many regular season minutes which killed his legs for the playoffs. He got regular season rest and closed for.the spurs and delivered in the clutch for their next two.rings.

On the flipside, the Celtics have more road games than home games left...and most of those games are against teams trying to make the Playoffs.

Great to see this!! Let's see... 22 points on only 12 shots, 15 rebounds, solid defense, clutch plays at the end, I don't think this guy is just any ordinary 7 footer!!

hell, he was probably our best guard today. his two 3's while kobe was out really shifted the momentum our way and the majority of his passes were on point.

Well I believe it's meant that Fish looks for his shot first. You do see that quite a bit. Doesn't mean he's fixated on his stats, or doesn't care about winning. Fish will do whatever it takes to win, he's a terrific teammate by all accounts. But he does often look for his shot first. That may be by design (PJ may tell him to do so), don't really know.
