Guess everyone knows about the goose egg in the Finals.
Ha. Yea man. I felt sorry for Sasha. He knew what he was in for... He just had to take it like a man... He better deliver in 09-10. _________________ 15th thru 20th rings!!!!

My buddy had the only NUMBER "15" poster/sign in the Coliseum. The 1 was shaped like the trophy and then just a regular 5 written in black. He had on a #8 Kobe jersey, I was next to him with silver glasses in a purple Laker shirt.
We got on the screen many times at the coliseum and even saw ourselves on TV!!! We were on the Fox Sports Replay of the Parade... just when the Laker players arrive at the coliseum. They cut to my friend and I twice as he was holding up the number "15" sign.
I'll post pics soon. We all got sun burnt! lol. Racoons!!! haha.
I definitely saw you guys.
At first I thought he just holding up a 5....Then I put the pieces together in my head.
Haha. Cool. Where were you sitting at? Were you above or below us? We were about 6 rows above the guys with the "Los Lakers" Banner.
I was in Section 17, row 38. Lower bowl, farrrr from the stage.

I bumped into a famous youtuber who was filming a video, and I happened to recognize him. It was pretty cool. I think I'm going to be in the next video he puts out - he has over 100,000 subscribers and was surprised that I was like "hey you're that youtube guy!"
Just posted this on the other parade thread, but here it is again:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just woke up from a coma after returning home from the Coliseum. Got sunburned and was dehydrated (we heard they ran out of bottled water) but overall had a great time.
Left Woodland Hills at 5:45am and got to the 110 fwy/Exposition exit around 6:30am. There was a super long line of cars backed up waiting to exit and not moving: (Side note:Some dude a few cars in front of us hopped out of his car to pee right in the slow lane against a construction wall.... cars were honking like crazy and he didn't give a rats arse....only in LA).

Finally left that crazy lane and drove right up to the front and begged someone to let me over to exit and he let me right in (that move alone saved me at least 30 minutes). Had a heck of a time finding a gate that was actually OPEN to park at the Coliseum. Finally, out of desperation, we pulled into a gas station right across the street from the stadium. The dude tried to gouge me for FIFTY BUCKS to park there. After a lot of arguing and other people leaving after finding out the fee, he agreed to $30.
Got in line around 7am and the line wrapped around the stadium. After waiting in line for 2 hours plus, we got to the gate which had no lines, just a huge crowd waiting to get in. We tried another gate and same thing. There was no one to ask which gate was going to open and which ones weren't. So finally we picked a gate (gate 16) and nearly got trampled to death once the gate opened. (Basically, there was no need to stand in line for 2 hours since anyone could walk up and join the huge crowds at the gate.

Extras:
-Sasha was booed the first time his name was mentioned but not as loudly when he was introduced with all of the other players. I thought that was really messed up IMO.
-There was a Pau look-a-like in the crowd.
-Saw quite a few people drinking gin, beer, etc at 7am and smelled lots of weed. People were smoking cigarettes everywhere, not just in the designated areas which annoyed me.
-People around me and in the lines were really cool...nice and everyone got along. No fights or problems where I was.
-Some lady got heckled out of our area when she was trying to peddle "Lakers water".... "the same kind that OMAR Odom drinks"....
All in all, it was a great day. Not sure if I would do it again next year...might just do the parade instead. _________________ Rest In Paradise Kobe & GiGi
just got home. ive been awake for 28 hours. the parade was amazing. we got some amazing seats pretty much right next to the stage. going at 6 am really paid off. plus we found an entrance that pretty much no one was lined up in. ill add videos after i sleep. im dead tired.
I arrived at Staples at 930 and it was already packed. The parade didn't start until 11:30 so everyone was basically looking for some free gear. A guy from Kobe's website or something hooked it up with some keychains and we got the Kobe puppet on a stick thing along with the Kobe Diem posters and the newspapers that were stacked with all these posters. We also took like 25 cookie posters.
When the parade started it went insane. Ariza knew how to work the crowd, he was by far the most outgoing Laker other than Kobe and Fish. My jumping and yelling paid off cause Ariza, LO, and Kobe all hit me up with a sign . We ran from Staples all the way to the Coliseum which was like a 2.5 mile run.
The only bad part about the day was that one of the ice cream vendors left their cart outside of McDonalds and all these people just started stealing her ice cream.
Some guy was also burning a Shaq jersey outside the Coliseum.
BTW if you didn't try a hotdog off the streets you were missing out. They were incredible.

I went to sleep at 7:30am this morning and then woke up at 9:30am to watch the parade on TV. So while I wasn't physically there, I shared the experience of exhaustion with my fellow Laker fans who were physically at the parade.
Some random thoughts:
It was nice to see Magic cheered so long. I got a bit teary eyed seeing him walk on the court and bow before the crowd.
Trevor seemed to get the loudest cheer from the crowd. Only Kobe got cheered more.
Sasha seemed to be booed at first, but then the crowd seemed to cheer him.
Shannon seemed to get much love from the crowd, too. Judging by his reaction, he seemed to be thinking, "I could get used to this."
I thought they should have spoken to more players in front of the crowd. I wanted to see Odom and Ariza up there, too.
All in all, it was great. I want to see another parade next June!
i had a great time at the coliseum, the worst part was trying to find parking and i arrived about 7 am, as i made my long walk from my car to the coliseum, i had to stop to use the rest room at a carls jr. so i walk up to use the the designated mens restroom and im told by a line of about 15 women that there is a single line for both rest rooms, there were some pretty big women enforcing this new law, hahaha and i was solo i couldn't believe that these damn women had straight up regulated and punked us for our rest room lol i felt like i was in the 1940's for a sec and mens lost there rights this time hahaha well other than that i had a good time,i finally made it to the colisem and i seen the long line that k4lakers mentioned up there and we almost got inline bt there was a gate that had a large group of people building up so i decided to skip the long line that was wrapping around the coliseum for no apparent reason and join the group, b4 i new i was in and had a great seat to celebrate the 15th los lakers championship, i seen the black mamba slithering around the stadium, two girls started to get alot of attention where i was sitting when they started to dance in a provocative manner and telling the crowed that they would flash, they were just dumb sl*ts looking for attention and never showed a thing bt a few stretch marks on her stomach, lots of marijuana being smoke everywhere i looked, people had some really great hats, signs posters and the black mamba that people put alot of time and effort into making, the crowd was amazing and i had never been around that many lakers fans at one time, i go to laker games all the time bt the chants are freaking mind blowing when its 95,000 people chanting lakers or mvp instead of the normal 18,000 at the staple center. i had a blast i wish that one day the lakers can play a night game at the coliseum, i think it would be unbelievable to have a game there on a nice evening under the lights
