What a poor excuse. It's up to him to tell the team that they have a foul to give. You telling me that 5 Lakers just happened to forget about it 10 seconds after Phil told them? Unlikely. Phil didn't tell them about it |
1) Lakers have HCA all the way thru the WCF -- done deal
2) They'll have HCA against ALL teams except the Cavs
3) Even if the Cavs have HCA, the Lakers know they can win in Cleveland and Cleveland knows it. |

Laker defense has nothing to do with this game. The key to the game is removing Farmar from the entire equation. Remove him and we've got a competent team. |

I think Iguodala plays Kobe well... Look at these last 4 games...he has improved defensively and gives Kobe fits because of his athleticism. He didn't shoot a free throw because AI had pretty good D on him.
We should have fed Pau more too. |

Should have given up the layup, because the Lakers just can't play defend on those last second plays.

This was the worse game I've ever seen Kobe play. Can anybody remember him playing worse?
Everybody has an off night sometimes, but he was forcing the action way too much. |

Reasons we lost in order of priority:
1) too many TOs -- 18
2) Not going to the hottest player these days -- Pau
3) Lazy defense |

Yes, but honestly I'd rather play Boston. One, the HCA advantage couldn't be more important obviously. Two, you really want to play against LeBron and the 3 zebras? I don't. And three, travelling West to East is a lot harder than East to West. |

Right, and who will back up Fisher? Sasha?
And the Laker defense had nothing to do with the loss? Were you not watching what happened at the end? |

Well, they have seemed to respond to long East road trips the last few years, I expect them to be more serious than they were tonight. I start feeling ill each time we have 3+ in a row at home against non-glamour teams. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL

Kobe lost this one with his stupid 3pointers in the 4th. _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. If one game can't make a season (e.g. win @ Boston), one loss doesn't break a season (e.g. loss tonight vs. Sixers).
Despite the claims that this team is the stupid, garbage, or the other rampant hyperbole, they'll bounce back. |

Despite his last shot he was HORRIBLE defensively & added 5 TOs. He should've gone to Pau more to set the table. What Pau shooting these days -- about 70% |

I saw the score and i laughed...so i turned on sports center and saw the ending and laughed even harder!
I normally get mad when we lose but for some reason i just laughed.
You can delete this if wanted...figured id make a thread cause there will be alot of pointless topics.
When we go on a winning streak everyone will forget bout this |

Season aint over.
All we need is to beat GS, win all 7 games on the road trip, and go no worse than 7-1 in April and I say we get HCA!
Book it!!!

This was lost because the Lakers do not have the personnel, coaching, mentality and internal fortitude to close it out. Yes, they are soft except for Kobe. And when he doesn't deliver, we will always be doomed to failure.
Of course they could use this loss to rally together and get their heads out of their arses. Will they? Not too sure anymore...

Unfortunately, with the remaining schedule the way it is, the Lakers could not afford to lose to a team they should have beaten... especially at home. Now Cavs are in the driver seat to get HCA. |

We own Lebron defensively -- Lakers reduce Lebron to putty. |
