With the addition of TWO new players (adding 1 more to the total Laker's roster,) who do you think will be de-activated for the game? Would the staff have the temerity to do this to AM or is DJ/SunY the default choice here? Does this deactivated status have an effect on players who sit on the end of the bench? |

My guess is Sun will be activated, because he's been working hard and doing well in practice. If we get a big lead in this game it could be a good opportunity for him to finally have some success in an nba game.
So I guess the inactive players will be:
AB
AM
DJ |

Morrison may be better than Luke but thats not saying much
Shannon Brown is 3rd string quality
I have absolutely no anticipation in seeing them play |

My 1st instinct was that the two new guys along with AB would be on the IL (as the newbies don't know the O nor D) but... I can see PJ trying to go with the chemistry angle (even if it is during blow outs, or if the last play of the qtr merits a shooter, or even if it is just seeing themselves in the Laker uniform on the bench (and not behind it)).
PJ will probably make his decision with the long term in mind... who he thinks needs to get integrated in order to shore up the team's depth down the road.

The lakers are all about game preparation. There's only so much time to go around so they really put a lot into preparing for teams they could face in the playoffs. that means teams like Charlotte and now the OKC fall through the cracks. They won't have the benefit of much preparation and will have to wing it. That's my theory on why they seem to show up for big games and have stinkers against teams like Charlotte. |

I'd not put much stock in the play because human nature will have them jittery. I want to see if Adam's J is what it's supposed to be and if Shannon's D is justified. I believe Shannon will have the easier chore because D is instinctive thus easier to employ. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

well with everyone moaning about defensive guard play im interested to see what Shannon Brown can do defending the PG position. Everyones been saying he's an "athletic" 6'4 guard at 211 lbs which means he wont get pushed around by westbrook or bigger guards. Adam has also been labeled as a "shooter" so lets see what he can do as a catch and shoot player its not like Sasha has been "lights out" this season. _________________ "I didn't mean to walk in the shower with him. Supposedly. The reason, from my understanding, they weren't able to play in the last contest had something to due with finalization of physicals. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
