{Original Thread Title: Thank God for the Clippers}
When we really need a CONFIDENCE boost we get the Clippers... thank God. The Clippers are the equivalent of the fat chick at the bar. |

It can go either way. What if we struggle to pull out a win? Or even lose? Do you want the fat chick saying no? Or even, "Meh, I guess so." How does that factor into your confidence. _________________ Nerd rock in progress.

Hopefully we can blow them out so we can give the starters some rest for the real game tomorrow. |

To me this game is more important then the Portland game. I never wanted that #1 seed..playing Golden State or Denver I just don't like, tonight we can get that #2 seed and play Dallas which would be PERFECT..If the Lakers don't win tonight they are done, and Andrew won't be able to save them either..if this team TRULY cares about winning they will win tonight and prove a point that they are a team to be reckoned with..GO LAKERS!! |

Why would you want to play Dallas? We have barely been able to beat these guys and am not depending on Bynum coming in to save the Lakers either. Dirk just plain destroys us, as do Terry and Howard. If their bench did something a little better they would have beaten us both games. I don't want the Mavs at all. I want Houston!! _________________ New Beginings |

I wonder if they can actually beat the clippers (after losing to such powerhouses as Charlotte, Memphis and Portland), i'm not exactly confident. |

Vercetti, I don't think sarcasm comes through too many players on the LG board |

I just hope the news about Bynum doesn't deflate any of our guys. Don't need anyone having that extra motivation to come out flat, they tend to do that often enough as it is. |
