I don't get it. Why not play this hard from the get go?
I hope we get the 3rd seed locked up and just rest our guys _________________ "Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships."

well deserved loss.. we've learned lakers cannot step up and take control.. looks like another first round matchup with the Suns and Bynum trying to work his way back in a fast paced game.. Shaq and Amare will own that. my God!
heck, with NO and Spurs coming up, who knows, they might drop. |

I can't believe noone told Sasha not to foul right there, oh well, tough loss, missed opportunity. _________________ !

not singling you out or trying to pick on you - this is an extremely common sentiment
but since when do championship teams just say "aw well no biggie they just have our number screw trying to win"
to me a championship team would be the one that BEATS the lesser teams, especially the ones they have struggled against. they would come into this game at Portland thinking WE NEED TO SHOW THESE FOOLS WHAT'S UP, BRING OUR A GAMES.
but no, Lakers would rather suck for 75% of the game and then try hard right at the end cuz that's such an effective strategy in basketball |

Were not a championship team, not even close..the Memphis game and Bobcats game proved that 10 times over |

So when is Phil gonna start emphasizing defense with this team? When they have everyone healthy? This team has way too many players with nagging injuries. |

Sasha plays until the end. He saw what Reggie Miller did in 9 seconds. |

Oscar goes to Brandon Roy, all of that writhing on the floor and grimacing for the cameras, then he walks around like nothing happened.
Tomorrow Spurs v Suns, thought I'd be rooting for the Suns so that the Lakers could catch the Spurs, but now gotta root for Spurs to hold back the Suns in the Pacific. Wish they could both lose. |

First lets win the next 2. If the hornets don't lose to the T-wolves or the Kings by the time we play the Spurs, I would be fine with losing that game.
Let the Spurs get top seed and see them in the WCF. _________________ "Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships."
