Funny you posted this.
Stanley Kubrick used this song in his final film Eyes Wide Shut. It was incredibly haunting.
However set against this ridiculous art its just funny. It was able to drain the song of all its effect. After watching that I could picture some absurd upper class suburban goth kid putting it together while his mom makes him a pb&j with the crusts cut off. After all he is gonna need his nourishment if he's gonna be up all night writing horrible poetry and blogging about his pain. |
