Other than rebounding, I am not an Odom fan.
He continually disappoints me.
Look at yesterday. Kobe scores 48, Odom the second option, scores 6.
He is brainless out there.
He can't shoot for crap outside. He should drive the ball all the time.
Wish we could trade him for Jason Kidd or someone else.
Never been a fan.
He has had great games, few and far between.

It sounds much better if you say that Kobe and Lamar combined to score 54 points in the win.

Yes, 15 minutes for me to drink 11 beers as I watch Lamar blow 4 lay ups.
As a person, I dig LO. As a fan of the Lakers I'd like to admire LO from afar when he's on another team. |

The secret against Phoenix is defense...they have great offense, but very poor defense...we can't fall in their type of game...we have to make them use the clock so they end up with difficult shoots...
I believe LO will definitely have more impact on the offense than in Seattle...he has the talent and I'm sure Phill will convince him to play with some passion! My fear is his defense!!! _________________ Excuse me for my bad english.

good grief i cant believe he played so awful against seattle.....inexcusable.
last nights game left me with a headache from his absolutely LAZY playing on offense and defense. cant even count how many times he made elementary school mistakes on both sides of the floor.
that game was all kobe.
i sure to hell hopes he steps up against phx.... |

Maybe he can vertebrae-tackle Steve Nash to display his trademark toughness. _________________ http://chickhearn.ytmnd.com/

since the start of the 2006-2007 season until now, odom's average against the suns:
18.8pts/13.5rbs/3.3ast/2stl
not too shabby. looks like he plays better vs. the suns than he does normally. hopefully, he can continue that kind of play on thursday. |

Make him earn his paycheck fisher farmar whoever's controlling the game needs to send his ass to the post and crack that whip. Force him to play up to his potential. Ride his ass for 8 weeks the least he can do is give us 8 weeks then he can go back to being numero treo.
Do not let him get the ball on the perimeter. I hate seeing him 20 feet out trying to take his man off the dribble it leads to nothing but charges or horrible 3's. I'm willing to lose to phoenix playing smart I'll be pissed if we lose playing dumb. |

I have two words for Lamar....pay attention! D'Antoni claims Phoenix has the best team in the league and he doesn't fear the Lakers....Lamar could make him eat those words if he plays like we know he can. |

again, its not up to lamar. its up to phil and the coaches to make it known, "TOOODAY is LO Day, we're going thru him tonight. win or lose. You hear that kobe?" once kobe nods. thats it. its on LO. if he chokes. he's a choker. but if this doesn't happen and LO is left to manufacturer his points with no plays or very minimal. its the fault of the coaching staff for not recognizing our advantage over the suns. |

It's the 'Wounded Bird Syndrome.' Some folks are attracted to guys that look like they need a hug.
I watch Lamar blow layup after layup and want to punch him in the face. _________________ So glad we gave you your flowers while you were here, Kobe. |

I'm not an Odom fan. I just know he's had a few good games against Phoenix and it's what I expect..or really hope. That this team forces him to play.
Don't get it confused I am no Odom fan. these people challenged me and I accepted. I think Kobe and Co will crack the whip on him. _________________

It's nice that he likes to play against Phx. Too bad there are 28 other teams in the NBA. We can really use that kind of fire and desire when we play them too. _________________ So glad we gave you your flowers while you were here, Kobe. |
