A poor shooting night. A few bad decisions, but overall just a weird game. He's got 25 points, 5 steals, 6 assists and only 3 turnovers... but some of those bad shots should be considered turnovers. He better bring it tomorrow night because the Hornets are a much tougher team. |

I hate Phil Jackson. He gave Sasha 8 seconds and he could have at least given him the final 2 minutes. Phil Jackson is a grade A jerk. |

It's unlikely he will ever receive it due to the blatant bias exhibited by the media and Laker fans as well. |

The key thing to note is we are blowing teams out IN SPITE OF Kobe's subpar play. Our team has improved all around.
If Kobe doesn't get into gear come playoff time it's gonna be tough for us. We need him playing well to take out the elite teams of the league. You saw what happened when he was off against the Celtics. |

its funny that is stat line is great despite his shooting percentage and some of you claim that he had such a terrible game, just relax and remeber that the team is still winning despite his so called terrible games.... _________________ RIP.....Pop (AJ Sr.) 7/09/23-01/20/09

I'd rather see the minutes go to Critt anyway. |

Kobe puts up 25 points offensively, and holds Miller in check for much of the game. And that's sub-par? High standards or what?!

Aside from being +16 after the first quarter, the Lakers played even with the Grizzlies. Needless to say they left much to be desired. |

Memphis actually had 6 players in double figures. Surprising.
Would love to get Miller.
Another good game for Kwame though, I like that.

Like I said, a weird game. If he makes a few of those tough luck shots, we'd be talking about a GREAT game by Kobe, but it was just a good game. This game just had a weird feeling to it. Hopefully he brings his A game tomorrow night because it'll be a lot tougher. |

calm down, do you have any idea how long it takes to recover from an ankle injury? Very mild ankle sprains can take months to really get better.
Sasha came in a situation where he wouldn't have to move side to side, just had to camp out at the 3 pt. line to space the floor. He's in not condition to be trying to keep up with Mike Miller. |

At least give Sasha some garbage time minutes to get in rhythm for the next game. |

First play of the game was Kobe forcing a turnover on Miller. He hounded Miller all night. Miller started to go off when Kobe was subbed out with foul trouble. Miller got some looks on Luke, hit a couple of threes. But for the most part, yeah, Kobe locked him down. Held him under 20 points. Forced all 4 of his turnovers.
