Not a bad statline for a guy that doesn't care! |
Lakers also had 5 other guys in double figures. Good team win. |

We played three of the top 5 teams in the NBA this year and our record is 2-1: 2 dominant wins and 1 loss by 2 points on a game winning 3. Not bad. _________________ LakersGround's Terms of Service

Trade Kobe, Fire Phil. The Lakers are in the lottery. Listen to Barkley, Magic, Kenny Smith, Arenas, and ESPN.

It's true, Kobe was going after shots around the basket all night on defense. Supports what he was saying about feeling his hops again. |

Kobe trying to keep them humble and making sure they don't get too ahead of themselves. Brilliant.
No room for overconfidence right now, we started thinking teams would bow down to us last year, and we lost to bottom-tier'ed squads, before the injuries. |

To think, we could've been 3-0 had Kobe makes more of his three throws on that houston game. But enough could've,/should've, we lost by 2 to houston, blew away phoenix AT PHOENIX, and now outplayed the Jazz. Not a bad start considering off-season the circumstances.

Amazing that Sasha did more in this game by not playing than Cook did playing. |

Man, that was a wonderful game to see. Awesome D. I kept telling myself, "I hope they can keep this up for 48 minutes" and they did! Did you see Kobe going for that block with under a minute to go? He's trying to deny EVERYTHING. Dude is possessed. Same with the rest of the team.
Props to Bynum and Farmar. Two critical bench players doing their jobs. Great job. Everyone (except Cook) played well.
The LA Lakers... a team tonight. NICE to see. |

Regardless of Kobe's wishes... you don't trade Andrew Bynum. PERIOD.
Great team win tonight. |
