I think he will breakout this year, but it does seem like he just doesn't have the mentality/aggression/dog to match his talent. |

Guy isnāt a difference maker. Ingram is the only guy in that deal that Has major value. Also the 4th pick came in a 3 player draft. _________________ 17 time World Champions |

Groin injury. Hate to say it but his peak is probably Rubio if he's lucky. |

And heād have been sent out for AD as well. I still donāt get the hype with Tatum. Reminds me a lot of a cross between prime Danny Granger/Pierce. |

I would consider Darko Milicic ,Hasheem Thabeet and Derrick Williams as busts at #2. Lonzo's numbers are 10/6/6 for his 3 years and he came out of college as a guard that wasn't expected to be a scorer. I don't see that as a bust, especially considering his defensive prowess. Not becoming a superstar doesn't equate to a bust. Not able to stay in the league equates to a bust (See above players). Of course if he only plays 3 years because of a serious injury then maybe the label will fit |

I agree that technically he's not a bust, but he's clearly underachieving compared to the hype sorrounding him at the beginning and to some of the other 2017 draftees (tatum, fox, mitchell, markkanen,) |

Lonzo Ball is still better than Fultz.
And recall DLO didn't break out until year 4, a contract year.
I bet the same thing will happen with Ball.
He will have an up and down year 3, with a new team, like DLO with the Nets inyear 3. Then in year 4 he will do what Ingram is, but in a totally different way.
Probably 12-13 points, 10 assists, 7-8 boards a game. Then people will start talking about him as HOF all time great we were stupid to trade.
It is player development. I think Lonzo will develop, but he needs time. This is year 3. I also think Lonzo needs to play with Zion, great chemistry. And they need to stagger Zion with Ingram a bit. You'll see better results. When Zion comes back healthy, and a month or two have passed, you'll see Ball's value. The Zion-Ball pick and roll game will be beautiful with time. If I'm the Pels I cash in on Ingram's great start and trade him for 2 athletic forwards who can spread the floor around Zion/Ball. The talent they need around Zion and Ball is not Ingram. Lets see how smart Griffin really is. |
