We need AD to guard the paint and have energy to score just as many points to keep up with Jokic. It would also keep him out of foul trouble as he almost fouled out today.
We don't have an answer for Jokic. The Wolves have Gobert and Spurs have Wemby. That's why the Spurs could beat the Nuggets. That's why I wanted to avoid the Nuggets. Lakers are still a dominant force against most other teams. They're just not well equipped to deal with Denver. |
He doesn’t get tired. He never changes. He actually bullies guys late in games. I know it’s hard to accept but he is so much better than everyone else. |
Well thought out post halflife, I watched AD in the Bubble and he was heads and shoulders above all the bigs at that time, it’s amazing how much Jokic has leaped frogged Davis since that title season. |
I don’t know how well thought out it is but jokic is better than everyone else. That’s the dilemma. |
It’s honestly that simple. Jokic is miles better than Lebron and AD at this point. We are battling, but Jokic is inevitable.
We are up against this generations Shaq at his peak. What can u do ya know? |

This guy was absolutely right. In the second half, they had NO idea what they were doing on both sides. Really since Denver's zone. Prepared my ass. |

Lakers are getting swept back to back by a team starring a player who was drafted in the 2nd round, number 41 pick. Sometimes its not about how you start but how you finish. |

AD averaging 32/12.5/3.5 on 62% and we're losing while looking bad. Really sad to waste such a good effort by poor coaching and poor roster makeup. |

Yeah he deserves credit. He has played hard throughout, and none of what has happened is his fault.
Yes, Jokic is better (mostly because Jokic is a great passer). But AD is an incredible, maybe a generational talent in his own right. He deserves LOTS of credit. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

We're screwed if Lakers FO are really siding with Ham>AD. |
Might get really ugly this offseason… |

I think it is more they don't want a player in public saying the coaches are unprepared, especially with a series at 2-0. With 2 more home games. At the time it seemed not the right moment to imply the coaches do not prepare the team well.
I mean we all know there is a real level difference in coaching with what we have, and what some other teams have. It took our coaches a while to even realize that DLO/Rui/Reaves needed to start to be able to win enough games to be a playoff team. It's probably the same with these games. The adjustments just aren't coming quick enough. Unlike the RS, where you have ups and downs and have time for adjustments. In the playoffs you have to make adjustments much quicker. AD is probably frustrated, but still, saying that out in public when the team is down 2-0 with 2 home games coming, not the right time. |

ehh. Then move him and go full rebuild. we know we wont do that.
I do think the GSW talk mid-season was thrown out there to plant the seed. I wont be surprised if bron is up north. _________________ Kobe.

You’re giving our FO too much credit. LeKlutch decides if he goes or not, and from what I can see he’s way too settled in LA. |

The good thing is we dont have to hear:
If bron/AD were healthy
DLO was a good 3rd option
we have zero excuses for this current roster.
The coach had a full year with a roster. we won more games so i wont be surprised if they look at the W/L upgrade as a reason to keep him.
Everything is crystal clear going into offseason. We will know how serious they are about competing. _________________ Kobe.

Really feel for AD. The Russ trade robbed so much potential from his prime. Incredible impact this series |

AD is showing me something this year. He deserves someone in similar timeline to finish up his career as a Laker. Someone under 35 year old to pair up with AD instead of LeBron would be nice. Frankly, I never understand the LeBron AD pairing, LBJ had his best years when paired with a perimeter stars in Wade and Irving. The best play between him and AD is the high pick and roll, but they don’t always run that either. It’s either LeBron iso ball or dump ball to AD in high post. |

They made sense when LBJ was a Small Forward. Those days are gone. Now we have 2 stars that should be used as a PF defensively and keep getting less effective on the perimeter. |

Bron is still a better guard defense and sf defender than our 1-3 let that sink in 😂 |

Didn't he want the Russ trade or no? Seems like I'd always heard that he and LeBron were heavily in favor. _________________ Time to Win These Next Homegames, Pacers! #IWantToBelieve |

If anyone watched this series and come to the conclusion of “AD got owned by Jokic”, you have no basketball knowledge at all. |

Best player on either side hands down. Almost wasted tonight but thankfully Denver just didn't hit what they hit the last 3 games. |

They actually shot poorly for the entire series, unfortunately, so were we, and Gordon was the difference |
