If AD thinks he is DPOY material why does he not want to guard Jokic on every possession? |

He will get worn out, especially when we need him to play on both ends, it’s why a lot of us are upset that the Lakers didn’t try adding a capable big to guard guys like Zubac / Jokic / and others

He literally said that he would guard Jokic for the entire game. It's not up to him to decide it |

There is no reason to have your best big waste his energy on a ultra talented offensive player, it’s why you always have solid back up bigs |

It's not that simple and you know it. So don't pretend to be dumb.
Our whole defensive system relies on AD. Putting him on Jokic all the time would sacrifice other aspects of the team's defense. |

i know as fans we are biased but above is the reality. |
Not how it works, whenever AD is on Jokic, they run Murray Jokic PNR and our defensive scheme is switching which makes AR or DLO guard Jokic on switch, AD could cover Murray, but Jokic will kill us that way. Our solution would be double Murray off AG which would open Gordon for offensive rebounds and back door cuts. Jokic’s passing ability is deadly, and contrary to others believe, it is not the physical body of Jokic that we can’t stop, it is his passing ability that give us trouble. If they ask Jokic to go post up one on one on AD, I would take that any day of the week |

AD if you want to be that guy, you have to do it for the entire game not just one half.... |

I am once again to mention that Rob made a gigantic mistake overlooking the starting 5 spot. To have a big body on Joker would help AD. No matter what anyone says, having to do what AD did on offense and then do all that he does on defense, don't tell me he had 100 percent left on the last defensive play on Murray?
Like we're asking him to be a beast (our Joker) on offense, the post man, the screen setter, all that, and then on defense we're asking him to the DPOTY type who switches onto smalls and also defends bigs.
It's just insane. Too much to ask one star. No star does that much at the 5.
We won a title with him playing as well he has this season (and as healthy). I continue to say, we should have tried to continue to find a set up like that to help the team. No, Hayes or some scrub vet min guy is not the answer. |

Rob is incompetent. Should've never dismantled the 2020 squad....and for westbrook of all players. Can't trust him to make good moves. I wish Kobe had a different agent |

It's been 4 years, it was time to change it up. But you need to find the players that can replace the older declining players. That's my thing. We lost Rondo, who was the highest IQ player outside of Lebron. Now years later, we've still got nothing but Lebron in terms of that guy that leads the team (DLO to me is more effective as a scorer for us than a playmaker/leader). Howard, played a big role in that run. Again, another role not replaced. You can't rely on the same role players for ever but good GMs find ways to plug away and replace them well enough. Our FO guy thinks the team is AD/Bron and whomever is the best talent available for what he has. And that's going to give you a talented team if AD/Bron are healthy, but it's not going to give you all the pieces the puzzle. Won't even start about coaching ..... |

The man got one shot in the fourth because Bron froze him out. And it goes back to he sat up 14 with four fouls and Joker in check. Rui and Bron have to hold that fort, not lose the game down to 5 points and expect him to come out to hot Joker. He was failed there by his teammates. |

If I recall, he said the reason why he dismantled that squad was "We can't be complacent" |

Team needs a (bleep) backup big that isn't the corpse of SF LeBron or SF Rui Hachimura. |

Stopped running the easy plays for him which was the pick and rolls Denver couldn't stop. Denver didn't adjust, we stopped running the plays they couldn't stop.
We should have run that same pick and roll play over and over again and kept ourselves up 19. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

That was a terrible move. Acquiring Westbrook set the team back. Lost Vogel bc of it too. It wasn’t time to change it up. They needed to be patient. Denver wouldn’t have won a ring without kcp |

Denver moved Gordon into AD who covered it much better |

That's what made Dream's 94/95 runs so special. He had to do just that. |

Strange game for AD. Had 30 points on 14-15 shooting midway thru the 3rd q. Then got in foul trouble and did nothing rest of the game.
If Aaron Gordon can stop AD from having monster games the games in LA won’t be close |

That's one way to frame it, another is - AD had 30 points on 14-15 shooting and Ham stopped running set plays and let LeBron and them freestyle the offense and both AD and DLo ( who was 6/7 from three in the first half ) hardly got any touches for the rest of the game. |

We wasted a Bill Walton UCLA like performance from AD.
I'm sick right now. |
