Maxwell Lewis:
In the first half, Max Lewis has shown good hustle and explosiveness. He's a little undersized down low but he's holding his own.
He has a decent shot, he can score and rebounds well for his size. Plays on the perimeter too.
M. Lewis scored 8 Pts, 5 RBs, in the 1st half.
J. Hood-Schifano:
JHS was feeling his way early on, he made two jumpers but short-armed one or two. He will get more familiar with his teammates in time. His defense is still meh.
He showed some hustle and awareness as he made a nice bucket and one on a drive just before the halftime buzzer.
JHS had 8 Pts, 2 Ast at the half.

Looks like JHS is having a nice game by a quick glance. So are Colin and MaxL. I wish we would pull Colin up every now and again. _________________ #Welp
* JHS - 20 Pts, 7 Ast
* Max Lewis 10 pts,
* Castleton - 20 pts, 16 Rbs, 2 Ast, 2 Stl, 3 Blk
* Shaq Harrison - 20 Pts,
* L. King - 18 Pts.
* Q. Weatherspoon - 18 Pts.
*JHS & M. Lewis played extensive minutes. Once they got into a rhythm they played much better. Good outing for both guys. Nothing spectacular but they showed some progress.
Overall JHS nad a good outing in his first stint in SB. JHS played a smart game and made most of his FT's down the stretch. His footspeed is a liability and his effort on defense is suspect but all-in-all his teammates made sure he got touches and was able to contribute. His shot needs work but that's one of the reasons he's in SB.
He's still young and raw, hopefully he improves as he gets more reps.
* Maxwell Lewis played decent too. He didn't play as much in the 2nd half but he contributed on both ends when he played.
He is athletic and has hops. His perimeter defense needs a lot of work but he has shown great hustle and a willingness to put in the work.

They played well and SBL won.
Castleton does a little bit of everything, kinda reminds me of a G-League version of Pau Gasol.
South Bay has several ballers. Shaq Harrison can hang with the best of them on both ends of the floor. Pippen, King and Weatherspoon too.

Dude knows how to play, reminds me of Reeves in that way from a different position. I'd like to see his body get stronger, but I believe he can help us already.
South Bay Win in Santa Cruz, 120-105 The Santa Cruz Warriors (1-5) fell to the South Bay Lakers (4-2), 120-105, on Saturday night at Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz, CA.
Since SPJ has moved on to Memphis, JHS has stepped into the lead guard role and has performed well.
He still has a lot to work on and to learn as a point guard and as a leader.
He seems motivated to put in the work and showing signs of progress.
