I feel like this teams talent is so much better than what they have showed this season. I am going to need Ham to step it up or step aside.

When has the talent been on the floor though?

Vincent was hurt all preseason and played hobbled to start the year

Prince is hurting now.

Rui is out now.

Vando has been out all preseason.

He’s never had the actual talent all out there at once. Probably will not to December

Yeah you gotta put him top 5 currently playing. If not top 7

Kawhi's talent is one of the greatest of all time. Injuries definitely held him back. They started with the Spurs and really killed most of his prime years since then. When he won with the Raptors it looked like the sky was the limit.

So do you have him top 5 of current players? Where do you have him?

I probably am being overly critical on Ham this early in the season, but I just haven't been impressed with him counting his first season. I think he made a lot of mistakes last season. It took the Lakers trading Pat Bev to force him to give Austin the stable minutes he should have had all season.

Last season he was a first time head coach. I need him to be better this season.

Glad they finally snapped the losing streak but man, they made it harder than it needed to be.

To be fair he boosted Cams confidence today but he made it harder playing only 1 big the last 3 mins. Thats a lot of work for AD let alone an AD who went out and chased the perimeter in the third to get us back in the game. He led like a KG would on defense and took the perimeter offense of the clippers out it with his coverage with two bigs behind him. But he never really got a blow to rest so when Ham went no other big to close the fourth he was gassed. Closing with Wood in OT helped a lot.

And I’ll say it again for all the idiots out there … the stretch where he did what he did with J Hayes and Wood is why AD always wants another damn big out there to help him by cleaning the glass as he plays fire blanket on defense

Love the visual analogy there!

Closing the games is still a problem for us. This should not go to OT. These are the kind of games that takes toll on AD/Bron.

I'll take it but Clips would just say no Harden and 2nd of a B2B.

Good for us to see some new lineups (hopefully Ham will stick with some more Max) as a result

But they haven’t had Harden all year.

And the players they were missing from the trade weren’t really rotation players.

So besides Terrance Mann we beat the Clippers as they are actually constructed.

This!!

I'll play the IF game on this one. If he is healthy, I put him at #1 among current players.

Props to AR. What I like about him is he'll keep tossing it up. He doesn't get rattled like some in the forum when he's not on his game. He's gonna keep shooting. That's what shooters do. Now let's see if he can be consistent.

So if the Lakers never had a fully healthy team, then you would continue to let him coach until there's a fully healthy Laker team that he can be evaluated upon?

Darvin needs to give C Wood more PT. When we signed him I saw a player able to take some pressure off of AD. He's a good 3pt and midrange shooter who can also defend and rebound. After watching the game last night I came to the conclusion we need to stop the small ball and go Twin Towers BIG. Looking forward to the starting lineup against Orlando. I think Darvin is a good coach but I've always been critical of his lineups and rotations.

He made the WCF in year one. He had the leagues best defense post all star break. AD and Bron are playing back to backs for him. Dlo is playing defense for him. AR developed under him. He has the teams ear and that’s hard to get and half the battle in the nba. Rui, Vando, Dlo, Reaves, and AD all extended / signed immediately under him. Pushing him out is a lose the locker room move right now. It seems like Ham and Handy have full support.

Now if you want to criticize them being reactive and the team being slow starters you can. They struggle in the first to they see what a team is doing and then they as a team and coaching group always react to it. But something like that always makes me question less so the coaching and more so the scouting because you can clearly see them adjust in game to everything
